The world of mixed martial arts lost a dear family member Wednesday, as Ryan Bennett, former UFC broadcaster and respected member of the MMA media, died tragically in a car accident in Utah. He was 35.
“This is a huge loss for the MMA community,” said UFC President Dana White. “Ryan Bennett was one of the staunchest supporters of the sport over the years, and more importantly, he was a good man and someone who truly loved his family. We’re all devastated by this tragedy.”
Bennett’s wife and four children were traveling with him at the time of the accident, and all your prayers are needed for the Bennett family at this difficult time.
The entire Zuffa staff sends its sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Ryan Bennett.
