Consequences Creed vs. Alex Shelley. A decent match with a flashy move here and there, Creed had control at the start but Shelley turns it around to pick up the win.
Jeremy Borash comes out to let us know what other matches they have in store for us when Johnny Devine comes out and says how he's been dominating the X-Division and wants to make a bigger impact (no pun intended) so he tells the boys in the back to bring out anyone.... out comes Matt Morgan. Matt Morgan defeats Johnny Devine in a real squash match
Next up we have Rellik vs Eric Young. Before the match Eric Young
messes around with the ref and tags him into the match and goes outside of the ring, then the ref tags Eric back in. Mid-Match Eric Young goes under the ring and Rellik follows and then Super Eric's theme hits and he appears from under the ring and hits
Rellik with his the death valley driver type move.
Next up we have LAX vs Team 3D in a Tag Team Title match. D-Von and Bubba come out and talk some trash as usual, it was kind of funny. LAX comes out and Bubba interrupts jokingly saying how he won't wrestle because a kid is harrasing him and threatens to slap the kid and his mother, Homicide takes a mic and says "just call him fat boy" and the crowd chants "fat boy, fat boy" So the match is underway and mid-way through after Bubba tags in D-Von we see Bubba run to the back and doesn't return. LAX wins with their top rope finishing move.
Our next match is an inter-gender tag team match with James Storm and Jacqueline Moore taking on Rhino and Traci Brooks. Storm opens up by saying that the only good thing about going to Connecticut is being able to get the hell out of there quicker. A pretty solid match, Rhino and Traci Brooks win after both of them
hit a gore on Storm and Moore.
We go to intermission and J.B. tells us that when we come back he has a very special guest and that he is going to be putting us on TV. We come back from intermission and he introduces Kurt Angle who comes out to a great crowd reaction. He tells us about his current injury and plans to be back in action in the next 3 weeks. He also thanks the fans for helping TNA be seen in over 130 countries. He also states that TNA is going to kick the crap out of WWE within the next 2 years. Kurt Angle leaves and J.B. comes back with the camera and cuts a great live promo, hopefully I appear on TV.
Our next match is a TNA Knockout Title Match. Out comes ODB and gets a nice reception from the crowd. Then comes in Awesome Kong who didn't get that great of a reaction, lets just say she has a face for radio. A pretty basic match with Kong hitting the Awesome Bomb for the win.
Our final match of the night is a TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match. Out comes Tomko with an ok reaction a good mix of boos and cheers. Next enters Samoa Joe and he gets a HUGE pop. The match was very good and lasted about 10-15 minutes and ended with Joe locking Tomko in the Kakina Clutch.
After the match Joe takes the microphone and asks us how he feels about having some of the superstars coming out for autographs and the crowd goes nuts. Out comes LAX, Kurt Angle, Rhino, Traci Brooks, Matt Morgan, Consequences Creed, Alex Shelley and ODB.I gave a yell to Don West during the intermission and he gave me a wave.Also someone had asked why Bubba did not come back out and Homicide said it was because after Hernandez body slammed him he crapped himself! In the ring during all this they were letting people get a autographed picture with Kurt Angle for $20. A great show and I look forward to them coming back again.
