Impact opens with a recap of the Angle drama between Kurt, Karen, AJ Styles and Frank Trigg. The Impact intro then hits and we are welcomed to tonight’s show that will feature the return of Karen Angle to the Impact Zone, another $25,000 Challenge from Awesome Kong, a first round match for the World X Cup and Booker T against Kevin Nash in the main event.

Match 1: Consequences Creed vs. AJ Styles
Prior to the match, Mike Tenay and Don West mention the roll that Styles played to get Creed into TNA. The two shake hands as the bell rings and they grapple trying to one up each other. Kurt Angle is shown waiting in the parking lot, presumably for his wife. Styles finally takes control of the match with a nice dropkick that knocks Creed out to the floor. Creed comes back, however, with a rolling clothesline that takes Styles down to the canvas. Creed continues to work over Styles until Styles nails a Pele kick and then into the Styles Clash for the pin fall.

After the match, Jeremy Borash runs down the entrance ramp and frantically calls out for Styles. Borash tells him that Angle is waiting for Karen in the parking lot and Styles runs to the back. After a commercial break there is total pandemonium in the lot with Styles and Karen yelling at Kurt Angle. Security are trying to split them up as Styles tells Karen that she will stay with him in the locker room to make sure that nothing happens to her tonight.

Match 2: Brother Ray vs. Christian Cage
Prior to the match, Tenay announces that Rhino is still out due to a concussion he suffered last week. Brother Ray grabs a microphone and tells Christian that he will be stretchered out of the Impact Zone tonight and promises the crowd that this will see something they have never seen before and that it will be the last night of Cage’s wrestling career.

The match begins and Brother Devon is absent from the ringside area. Cage quickly tries an aerial attack on Ray and connects with a cross body block and a frog splash, which gains him a two count. Johnny Devine comes in from behind and swings a kendo stick at Cage, but Cage is able to duck out of the way and use the stick to his advantage to take Devine out. Ray then delivers a back body drop on Cage and cracks him in the back of the head as the referee calls for the bell and disqualifies Ray.

Ray motions to the back as Brother Devon and Tomko come down to the ring with a glass table. They set the table up in the ring and get Ray powerbombs him from off the middle rope and through the glass table. A trainer comes into the ring to check on Cage as the four of them celebrate over him. Kaz and Eric Young come out to the ring to check on Cage as Tenay begs the production team to cut to a commercial break.

Jeremy Borash is backstage with Kevin Nash who says that he has been trying to give Samoa Joe 20 years worth of knowledge and a win tonight against Booker T will show him who’s running the show. Samoa Joe enters the room and comments on Nash’s non-physical match preparation by sitting around and watching “Skinamax on the boob tube.” Nash says he is getting mentally prepared and Joe wishes him luck and promises to be out there with a ringside seat and hopes to learn something.

Match 3: Awesome Kong vs. Danielle ($25,000 Challenge)
Jeremy Borash does his usual pre-contest shill and Danielle was picked from the crowd and signs the waiver. Kong tosses her around for a bit to start the match out and Kong even sends her into the steel steps on the outside. While on the outside, she recognizes that the challenger from last week, Taylor, is in the crowd and decides to push her a bit. Kong sends Danielle back into the ring and delivers the Awesome Bomb for the pin fall.

After the match, Kong motions to Taylor, who hops the railing and attacks Kong in the ring. Raisha Saeed tries to get in the middle of them and Taylor clocks her across the face. The two continue to fight in the ring until security enter and separate them while Jim Cornette stops Taylor and wants to talk to her about getting back in the ring.

A video package of Angelina Love’s beginnings is aired. She admits to not knowing much prior to stepping in the ring and how Gail Kim was mean to her when she got her start. Scott D’Amore brings up Love’s time early on in TNA where she didn’t do very well but she showed the right attitude to continue on her path and make it back once again.

Moose is shown in the backstage area with a shopping cart and gathering items for her Bimbo Brawl against ODB later on in the program.

As Dave Penzer is announcing the start of the next match, Frank Trigg interrupts and comes out with a microphone. Trigg tells Styles to come out and be a man as we see Styles, Karen and Borash watching on in the locker room. Styles leaves and heads out to the ring, meanwhile, Kurt Angle uses the time to confront his wife in the locker room with the Beautiful People. Trigg calls Styles an idiot as we then see a cat fight in the locker room on the big screen where the Beautiful People give Karen the brown bag treatment.

Match 4: Team Japan vs. Team Mexico (World X Cup Match)
Team International and Team TNA both come out to scout the match as Naruki Doi and Masato Yoshino are wrestling for Team Japan and Ultimo Guerrero and Rey Bucanero are paired up for Team Mexico.

Team Japan uses their quickness and double team maneuvers in the early going against Bucanero and they even pick up a near fall. Yoshino is finally distracted by Ultimo Guerrero, who is finally tagged in and turns the match around. Yoshino is able to knock Bucanero to the floor with a hurricanrana and Doi ducks Guerrero, which also sends him out to the floor. Team Japan then perform a double dive through the ropes and onto Team Mexico to take them out on the floor.

The action returns to the ring where Bucanero takes down Yoshino with a clothesline and Guerrero follows up with a face-first suplex off of the middle rope. Guerrero nearly gets the pin fall but it is broken up by Doi. Guerrero gives Doi a suplex off of the top ropes and Bucanero lands a corkscrew senton off of the top rope to finally pick up the win and the point. Team Mexico is now tied with Team TNA with one point a piece.

Lauren is backstage with Jay Lethal and SoCal Val and asks what they are feeling right now. Lethal says that he is pissed as him and Sonjay Dutt were great friends. Lethal questions why he didn’t face him like a man and SoCal Val says that they are going to postpone the wedding for a while. Lethal breaks his Machismo character and doesn’t agree with the decision as Val walks away.

A video package highlights the Fan’s Revenge match and the ongoing feud between the LAX and Robert Roode & James Storm. They then tell fans to send in the videos on why they should be chosen as one of the twelve lucky fans to participate in the Fans Revenge match.

Sonjay Dutt comes out with a bunch of kids who are walking around and collecting money in tambourines. Dutt says he is collecting money for the Save Val Foundation and preys that her shackles will be broken and then she will admit that she is in love with him. Jay Lethal then runs down to the ring and attacks Dutt until he is able to escape from the ring and leaves with all of his kids.

Booker T is backstage with Jeremy Borash and is showing off his new locker room. The room is decorated with photos and a red velvet couch as Borash drools over a photo of Booker T along with Muhammad Ali. Booker T says he is first class all the way and that he has put TNA on the global map. As for Kevin Nash, Booker says he is now higher up than Kevin Nash and that makes him jealous. He then promises to bust Nash’s punk ass tonight.

Another TNA Rough Cut segment is aired and this time it is about Matt Morgan going pro in basketball. Morgan talks about his college basketball career and his tryout with the Indiana Pacers of the NBA. When that didn’t work out, he saw an ad for Tough Enough on MTV and decided to send in a tape for the show, which started his wrestling career. This will be continued.

Tomko is backstage pleading with Kurt Angle to get his head in the game so AJ Styles stops showing them up. Angle says it will end between him and Karen when he says it ends. Team 3D then come down the hallway and tell Angle that he is embarrassing himself and question his taste in women. Brother Ray says that Angle is a star and offers to hook him with a couple of blind dates. Angle thinks it’s a great idea as long as there are no fat chicks.

Match 5: Moose vs. ODB (Knockout Bimbo Brawl)
Moose comes down to the ring with a shopping cart full of weapons and ODB comes out with a helmet and shovel. ODB spits some of her drink on Moose and tosses her out to the floor to start this match off. ODB then tosses her into the guard railing and starts pulling out weapons from Moose’s cart and putting them into the ring. ODB tosses Moose into the ring but Moose begins a comeback and nails ODB with a hockey stick before choking her with a chain.

ODB is able to escape from the chain and level Moose with a couple of clotheslines before landing a fallaway slam and nailing her with the shovel a few times but it still isn’t enough to keep Moose down for the three count. Moose is able to turn the tide of the match and drives ODB down with a DDT on top of a steel chair to pick up the win.

A video package highlighting the Samoa Joe/Booker T/Kevin Nash triangle is aired and the No-DQ match between Nash and Booker is up next.

Match 6: Booker T vs. Kevin Nash (No Disqualification)
As Booker dances around Nash in the ring, Samoa Joe comes down the ramp with a chair to get a ringside seat of the action. Nash powers Booker over in the corner and clotheslines Booker over the top rope and onto the floor and follows him out. Nash sends him into the ring post and rams him back into the side of the ring before sending him back into the ring. Booker, though, is able to gain control of the match by attacking Nash before he is able to get back into the ring and we head into a commercial break.

We return to see Nash back in control as he slams Booker’s head on the steel steps a couple of times. Nash tries for a few pin attempts on Booker but he isn’t able to keep his shoulders pinned to the mat. Nash then misses with a clothesline and Booker comes back with a kick to the face and begins laying the boots to Nash. The match again goes to the outside where Booker tosses Nash into the railing.

Booker then goes over to Joe and pushes him off of it and cracks him in the head. Booker then brings the chair into the ring and uses the chair on Nash until Joe recovers and enters the ring and attacks Booker from behind. Joe then goes for a sidekick on Booker but accidently nails Nash. Booker then tosses Joe out of the ring and picks up the pin fall.

Booker quickly leaves the ring and tries to get in Joe’s head as Nash gets back up and gets in Joe’s face. Security run out to the ring to separate the two as Booker looks on in delight and Impact comes to a close.
