The Hook:
Sting is back, and the power struggle continues between Heavyweight Champion Mick Foley, The Main Event Mafia and Jeff Jarrett. Tonight Executive Shareholder Foley has made a ten man tag match involving the Main Event Mafia against Jeff Jarrett, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, A.J. Styles, and himself. Will Kurt Angle and the MEM take out Foley? Will Jeff Jarrett go over Foley’s head, and who exactly will get the title shot at Sacrifice? It’s all about to explode tonight on Impact.

Quick Results:
- Suicide defeats Consequences Creed.
- Matt Morgan defeats MEM Security.
- Beer Money defeats Eric Young and Jethro Holiday.
- Awesome Kong defeats Velvet Sky (Stretcher match).
- The Main Event Mafia win the main event with help from Jarrett.

Full Report:

- The show starts with a video package claiming TNA is in anarchy with Mick Foley and Jarret’s power struggle, unknown elements like Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe’s Nation of Violence and the Main Event Mafia. Who will “Sacrifice” the most?

- “The Godfather” Kurt Angle leads the Main Event Mafia to the ring as Tennay recaps Angle’s attempt to takeover Foley’s office last week. Angle has put his position as leader up for “sacrifice” if Jarrett puts him in the main event at the PPV against Foley.

Angle takes a rose and says to Foley, that he made it clear “if you screw the Godfather, you get the thorn of the rose”. He claims the only reason he didn’t take over Foley’s job is because he wanted to save him some dignity. He reiterates the announcer’s comments that he’ll be in the main event at Sacrifice.

Kurt isn’t happy about the rumors of a 10 man tag match tonight. He doesn’t understand why Foley would put such a match on free TV, nor tell the MEM beforehand. He says if the rumors are true than he needs to get his fat crazy ass out to the ring. Enter the champ Foley with Daniels.

Foley says it’s no rumor, there will be a 10 man tag match tonight! He says he’d give away a match like this because “we need a show of power”. Foley thought he was immune to the MEM, but because Angle is dead set on taking him out, the match will inevitably go ahead to seemingly end the struggle. He puts over sting, saying he didn’t expect him to be back so soon. He continues, “there is a big difference between what Angle and Sting did to him last week and what he did to Angle two weeks ago. Mick says that he was saving a friend two weeks ago, stitches and all, but Angle and Sting are being selfish. Angle points out that Foley might have had 25 stitches, but he won a gold medal with a broken freaking neck! Mick vows that he’ll become the new Godfather after Sacrifice. [I can just see him wearing a suit]

Foley announces his partners for tonight’s match, including Jeff Jarrett. He claims that although he may have skyrocketed TNA [in the ratings], there were people before him like AJ, Joe, Jarret and Daniels who built the foundation. Jarrett comes out a little ticked off. Mick says they’ve had their ups and downs but it was all for business. Jarret tells Mick to kiss his ass for business.

We are left with the thought, “can these guys all get along tonight?”

- Lauren is backstage catching Samoa Joe as he arrives. Joe blanks her, but she asks about the car and who dropped him off? It seemed to be another hint at Taz.

- Recap video of the Machine Guns claiming Daniels was Suicide.

- Suicide defeats Conseqeunces Creed (with Jay Lethal) in a non title match:

Short and fast paced match, with Suicide picking up the victory. Don West is convinced that Daniels is behind the mask, but Tennay remains objectionable. After the match the lights go out and Suicide is gone. Lethal looks on in confusion.

- Hype video for Mick Foley’s title win and the “sacrifices” he made.

- Backstage Matt Morgan is in Mick’s office asking for a chance to impress the MEM. Morgan tells Mick he can put him against anyone. Foley responds by saying “what better way to impress the Main Event Mafia than to take out their security?” Morgan is on the same page and tells Mick he can decide whether it is Sal or Rocco.

Morgan leaves and Borash thinks it’s stupid to allow somebody like Morgan to get on the good books of the MEM. Foley agrees and says the match needs “tweaking”.

- Smashing Pumpkins/TNA video package. Awesome song!

- Backstage Velvet Sky is tense about her upcoming stretcher match with Awesome Kong. She tells Lauren to shut up and points out to Angelina that Madison spent three days in the hospital. Angelina brushes it off, stating that she beat Kong for the title. Velvet reminds her that she actually pinned Taylor in the match for the belt. It’s a little heated, but Angelina pulls Sky in to her breast and tells her it’ll be OK. [I wish I was in a match with Kong].

- Backstage a taped interview plays of Tenay interviewing the MEM. He asks if this is what Angle envisioned when he created the stable in Vegas last year. Angle says that they’ve had their problems like all families, but they got through it, like the falling out with him and Sting. He says there are a lot of things left to accomplish before this thing is over.

Tenay brings up the problems between Jenna “I’m a blog whining non wrestler” Morasca, and Sharmell. Sting butts in and says that nobody will deny that the group is full of strong willed people, but that they sort out their differences with the main goal still in tact. Nash comments that he thought the two women worked as a team, bringing up that last week Jenna distracted the ref, whilst Sharmell threw in the belt. Kurt says the belt means everything and that he needs to destroy Foley at the PPV and win the belt to show Sting that he is his brother.

Steiner says his relationship with Jeff is history and that the Mafia will not be over until they take over TNA.

- Lauren interviews Taylor backstage who agrees that she’s never seen Kong in this type mentality before. Taylor seems a little high on life and it is revealed that she has a secret admirer. She invited Lauren to their date next Tuesday. [I guess this one isn't Taz].

- JB is with Jarret backstage and asks what is he going to do about Foley? Jeff brushes him, knowing that he’s just trying to “stir the pot” between them.

- Matt Morgan defeats Sal and Rocco in a Handicap match (that was the tweak):

Morgan make light work for the former “Phi Delta Slam”, finishing the job with a Carbon Footprint. Statement made.

- JB is in Foley’s office. After telling JB he can see his reflection in the belt, Mick says he’s gonna have to “tweak” the 10 man match tonight. Borash says he’ll put out a Twitter about his Tweak. Mick screams at JB to shut up, and says that tonight Jeff Jarret’s guitar will be banned because it’s caused too many problems. He send Borash to spread the word and says he no longer wants to b bothered until the match.

- Webography with Robert Roode [I hate it when they do these with heels; we're supposed to hate them, not learn that they wanted to be care workers before wrestling!]

- Lauren is backstage with Eric Young and Jethro “Trevor Murdoch” Holiday. Eric says he’s got PPV victories over both members of Beer Money and knows all of their weaknesses. Holiday simply snots on the ground to Lauren’s disgust.

- Team 3D come to the ring and show off the giant check that is up for grabs in the tag tournament.

- Beer Money defeats Eric Young and Jethro Holiday:

After some back and forth action all four men end up in the ring. Eric instructs Holiday to get back to his corner, but ends up getting superkicked and double teamed for the pin and win by Beer Money.

- Backstage Raisha Saeed cuts a promo against the other Knockouts and Awesome Kong screams “Dumb Blondes, Dead Blondes.” [Leave the mic with Raisha, that's what she's there for].

- Webography with James Storm.

- Hype video for Awesome Kong and the stretcher match.

- Awesome Kong defeats Velvet Sky:

Velvet plays up her nervousness by not grinding the ring rope and waits for Kong to storm down to the ring. Things get worse when the ref orders Angelina to the back. Kong destroys Sky with four Implant Busters and an Awesome Bomb to the crowd’s delight, and she is scooped off on the old school stretcher.

- Backstage Abyss is with Dr. Stevie. and is talking about The Office TV show. Stevie says that he has a surprise for Abyss and in comes Daffney. Stevie sets out a plan. Daffney is going to be in the first Knockouts Monster’s Ball match and he wants Abyss ti be in her corner for therapy. Abyss is reluctant but Stevie takes off his belt, so Abyss agrees. [Daffney is hot! Oh and a good actor. I'm actually being serious, she has great presence and should have made it big by now.]

- Lethal Consequences are in the ring and accuse Daniels of being Suicide. Daniels says that if Creed thought more about how to beat Suicide than who he actually is, then he wouldn’t have gotten his ass kicked earlier. Daniels tells him never to call him out again. Lethal prevents Daniels from leaving and says that they know he is Suicide! Daniels calls Jay the biggest joke in TNA in regards to his gimmick. Lethal slaps Daniels!

The MCMG’s come down and say they need to keep things family friendly like video games. Shelly continues by asking why does Daniels dress up like a video game character? They vow to unmask Suicide next week.

- Borash continues stirring the pot backstage before Sting enters and reminds Jeff that he wasn’t given a rematch after he lost to Foley at Lockdown. He wants to be put in the match if he can win tonight. Jeff says he can have his match if he Sacrifices something.

- Lauren is backstage with Angelina Love, who is hysterical that all her friends are laid out. She gets a call from a mystery person who she says needs to be here next week. She says she doesn’t care about Spike TV’s no male on female violence so I’m guess it’s Cute Kip.

- Main Event Mafia video package.

- Main Event Mafia defeat Mick Foley, Samoa Joe, Daniels and Jeff Jarrett:

The match comes to an end when Jarrett has a baseball bat, but Foley takes it away. This results in Jarrett pushing Foley and Foley swinging back. Jarrett does the Stroke on Foley on to the bat and Sting pins Foley. Jarret and Foley’s dislike cost them the match and has put Sting in to the match at Sacrifice.

After the break Sting explains the deal he cut with Jarrett, which now allows him in the main event at the PPV.

Sting says his Sacrifice will be if he gets pinned he’ll retire!

Conclusion:
No matches stood out this week other than Kong destroying Velvet Sky, but the majority of segments were to build future storylines. We have the who is Suicide program, the Awesome Kong versus the Beautiful People angle, and Matt Morgan’s future to think about.

The PPV main event has been set, but if you weren’t watching closely you’d probably be confused by the amount of intertwining feuds and stipulations. Will Sting and Angle coexist going in to the match?
