TNA iMPACT Report
Airing June 11th, 2009

We are live on tape from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Don ‘Jason Maier is watching the Stanley Cup Finals tonight’ West and Mike ‘Isn’t that game on tomorrow night?’ Tenay.

We start off with Mick Foley coming to the ring and he has security with him. Mick says that he realizes that when he took the job as executive shareholder of TNA, there would be tough times. He knew that when he shocked the world in Philadelphia that people would be coming after him for the title. He knew that he would be forced to defend the title one to four times a year. Mick says that he knew there would be a time that he would lose the title. However, Jeff Jarrett has taken away his smile. Mick tells Jeff that some hard decisions had to be made and when you have something to say, you say it face to face. Mick wants Jeff Jarrett to come to the ring with a mic for a hard decision.

Jeff Jarrett comes to the ring. Mick tells Jeff that he wears Jeff’s t-shirt as a sign of respect for what he did and it makes his decision so much tougher. Mick says that he tried to look past Jeff’s words and actions, but then Jeff assaulted a referee and senior citizen in Earl Hebner. Mick says that cannot stand. Mick says that Jeff might take away his smile, but he will not let Jeff run roughshod over the company. Mick says that Jeff is fined and suspended without pay from TNA.

Jeff says that he is not going to stand here and watch Mick make a mockery of his company. Jeff says that he is sick of Mick’s comedy act and it is over. Mick says that this is not a comedy act. Mick tells Jeff that it is time to pay the band. Jeff tells Mick that he has gone too far. Mick says that Jeff has gone too far and crossed the line.

Jeff tells Mick that it looks like they are going to do this the hard way. Thornton Mellon Security stops Jarrett and they attack Jarrett. A chair has gone into the ring and they continue to double team Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett with a double clothesline and Jarrett with punches and chair shots.

Mick tells Jeff that he left him with no choice. Mick says that he will single handedly throw Jarrett out of the Impact Zone.

We go to the back where Lauren is with Team 3D. She asks why would they save Storm and Roode last week. Devon says that it is two fold. They have a problem with the British Invasion. They bit the hand that fed them in the tournament. Devon says that they have no idea who they are messing with. Devon says that if they draw first blood, they will be drowning in it.

We see Raven in the corner and Ray says that he is crazy. Ray says that this business is about the passing down of knowledge and respect. In beating that respect into Storm and Roode, they are the tag team of the future. They are not shining the belts up for them yet and they will prove it at Slammiversary. Team 3D leaves and Lauren does not like being left alone with Raven and she runs away.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jeff Jarrett is in his locker room with Jeremy Borash. Jeff says that he understands the actions that Mick is taking because he lost his temper and attacked Earl Hebner. He has apologized to Earl already. He knows that he has to set a good example for the others in the company. Jeff says that he was going to leave on his own, but why not try to get him out of there.

Match Number One: Alex Shelley and Jay Lethal with Consequences Creed and Chris Sabin versus Team 3D

Devon and Shelley start things off and they lock up with Shelley going after the arm but Devon reverses and applies a hammer lock. Shelley with a side head lock. Shelley with kicks to the leg and Shelley avoids punches and connects with a series of kicks for a near fall. Devon with a power slam for a near fall. Ray tags in and they hit a leg lariat and side slam combination. Ray works on the arm and Shelley reverses and makes the tag to Jay Lethal. Lethal works on the arm but Ray reverses. Ray with an arm bar but Lethal reverses and then he leaps over the top rope to the floor and drops Ray’s arm on the top. Lethal with a double sledge from the top and then Lethal with jabs but when he tries for a handspring back elbow, Ray catches Lethal and hits a suplex. Devon tags in and Shelley makes the blind tag. Shelley and Lethal with double drop kicks. Sabin and Creed hold Team 3D and they try for Suicide Dives but Team 3D move and these two teams continue to have problems with anything with the name Suicide. Lethal holds on to the ropes when Team 3D sets for the 3D. Sabin distracts the referee and Shelley with a low blow.

Lethal punches Ray and gets a near fall. Lethal with a running double sledge to the top of the head. Shelley tags back in and Shelley and Lethal choke Ray in the ropes. Shelley with kicks to the chest. Rey blocks a kick and he chops Shelley. Ray misses an elbow drop and then Lethal tags in and he sends Ray into Shelley’s boots. Shelley tags back in and Ray with a kick to Shelley and Devon tags in. Devon takes care of Shelley and Lethal and hits a back body drop on Lethal followed by a neck breaker to Shelley. Devon with a clothesline to Lethal followed by a side slam to Shelley. Devon with a flying shoulder tackle on Shelley for a near fall. All four men are in the ring until Lethal is sent to the floor. Creed and Sabin try to interfere but it backfires. Team 3D with the Wassup head butt to Shelley. It is time for tables, but is it also time for the British to come to the ring.

Devon sets for a power bomb but Doug Williams hits Devon with one of the briefcases and Shelley gets the three count.
Winners: Alex Shelley and Jay Lethal

Mick Foley is in his office with Jeremy Borash and he has a lot of security in his office. Jeremy asks Mick if the extra security is how Jarrett is going to be single handedly removed from the Impact Zone.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jeremy Borash has warned Jeff Jarrett that the angry mob is coming. Jeff wants to know why Mick needs help to single handedly remove him. Mick wants Jeff to walk away voluntarily until someone gets hurt. Jeff says that he is going to leave before he does something that he will really regret. Jeff asks Mick to re-evaluate his place in TNA to know what his role is.

Jeremy Borash is with the men who might be bleeding tonight in the Main Event Dressing Room. Booker says that Joe can make him bleed. Steiner says that he is going to break Joe’s legs and make him bleed. Steiner wants Joe to bring his friend with him. We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Samoa Joe versus Scott Steiner and Booker T in a Nation of Violence First Blood Gauntlet

Steiner and Joe start things off in the match. Steiner meets Joe on the ramp and they exchange punches. Steiner Irish whips Joe into the guardrail. Steiner gets the ring bell and he hits Joe in the head. The referee checks Joe and he is not bleeding. Steiner rings the bell on Joe’s head. Steiner sends Joe into the ring posts. They finally make their way into the ring. Steiner punches Joe in the top of the head to try to draw blood. Joe with an STO as Steiner charges. Joe punches Steiner. Joe charges into the corner and Steiner goes down. Joe with kicks and punches to Steiner. Steiner with a flatline to Joe and then Steiner exposes the turnbuckle. Joe blocks Steiner and Steiner is sent into the exposed turnbuckle. Joe with a series of punches to the forhead and still no blood. Steiner Irish whips Joe into the exposed turnbuckle. Steiner goes to the floor and he looks under the ring for the Big Poppa Pipe. Joe with a suicide dive to Steiner. Joe gets the trash can and he hits Steiner with it. Joe puts the trash can on top of Steiner and then Joe takes a few swings at the trash can. The trash can is removed from Steiner and there is blood.

Time for the second step of the First Blood Gauntlet and Booker T comes to the ring.

We are back and they are fighting on the floor. Booker is sent into the ring post and Joe with punches. Booker with a back kick and punches and chops. Joe chops back but Booker with a kick and then he sends Joe into the guardrail. Booker sends Joe into the ring post and Joe will not bleed. Joe sends Booker head first into the guardrail. The referee dabs Booker’s forehead and then Booker with elbows to Joe. Joe is sent into the ring steps and Joe is still blood free. Booker with knees and then he goes for the jumping side kick but Joe moves. Joe gets the Big Poppa Pipe and Joe hits him in the ribs. Booker spits up some blood and the ref calls for the bell.
Winner: Samoa Joe

We go to commercial.

We are back and we have a Moments Ago Moment Montage of Samoa Joe making his opponents bleed thanks to the Big Poppa Pipe.

Lauren is at the trainer’s area checking on the status of Booker T and Scott Steiner. Hey, there’s Raven, maybe he is stalking Lauren.

Match Number Three: Shane Douglas versus A.J. Styles

They lock up and Shane with a clean break. Douglas cowers to avoid a punch from Styles. They lock up again and Styles with an arm bar. Douglas with a side head lock but Styles with the Phenomenal drop kick. Styles with a pescado onto Douglas. Douglas sends Styles into the guardrails. Styles sends Douglas into the ring post. Styles tries for a springboard move but Douglas hits the rope and Styles goes to the apron. Douglas with a drop kick that sends Styles to the floor. Douglas with forearms to Styles. Styles punches Douglas but Douglas with another forearm to the back. Styles and Douglas exchange punches and then Styles with a Pele kick for a near fall. Douglas sends Styles to the apron and Styles tries for a sunset flip but Douglas with a punch. Douglas tries for the belly-to-belly suplex but Styles blocks it. Styles with an arm bar submission and Douglas taps.
Winner: A.J. Styles

After the match, Douglas attacks Styles and he hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Daniels comes to the ring and he attacks Douglas. The referee pulls Daniels away and that allows Shane to hit Daniels with his towel and we see that a pair of handcuffs were inside the towel. Daniels is cuffed to the ropes and Shane continues the attack on Styles. From out of nowhere, Samoa Joe comes to the ring and Douglas leaves the ring.

It is time for a video package hyping Slammiversary with the comments made about the company over the years.

Lauren is on the phone and she is running from someone on the phone. We see that it is Raven as Lauren goes into the women’s room. Lauren had to choose the one ladies room that Daffney was hiding in. Daffney leaves the ladies room. The camera man finally goes in to check on Lauren as we go to commercial.

We are back and Taylor Wilde is looking for Daffney. She finds her in the back and we see Stevie Richards and Raven sitting there watching Daffney screaming and choking Taylor. Stevie tells Daffney that is enough. Stevie apologizes to Taylor because they are out of time.

Jeremy Borash is with Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Madison Rayne and he is asking them about Tara. Angelina is worried about their set. They talk about Tara without mentioning her by name and they vow to take care of her.

We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time for more of ODB’s training sessions of Cody Deaner.

Kurt Angle is walking in the back and Jeremy Borash wants to know what is going on. Kurt tells Joe that if he wants him, he has got him. Whenever it happens, he wants Joe to bring it because he has something for him.

Match Number Four: Madison Rayne with Velvet Sky and Angelina Love versus Tara

They lock up and Madison works on the arm but Tara reverses. Madison with a kick and reversal. Tara with a cartwheel for a reversal and then she has the arm in a scissors. Madison makes it to the ropes and Angelina and Velvet check on her. Tara with a baseball slide. Tara with a somersault leg drop from the apron for a near fall. Tara with a side head lock but Madison with a knee after Tara is distracted by Angelina. Madison with a front face lock followed by knees and a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Rayne goes up top but misses a missile drop kick. Tara with a punch and a kick. Tara with a snap suplex and float over for a near fall. Tara with a slam and then she walks over Rayne and kicks some proverbial dirt on Rayne for a standing moonsault. Tara sets for the Widow’s Peak and she hits it for the three count.
Winner: Tara

It is time to find out what is inside Eric Young’s head as Jeremy Borash is with him. Eric says that nothing has gotten into him. He is tired of being taken advantage of by everyone, even Jeremy Borash. Jeremy tells Eric that he has to stop acting like people are taking advantage of him. Eric slaps Borash.

Sting is walking in the back and we go to commercial.

We are back and who will do interviews? We have So Cal Val and she is with Daniels. Daniels takes the mic and he tells Shane Douglas that he wants to wrestle Shane at Slammiversary. If Shane wins, he gets his roster spot. Daniels says that if Douglas loses, he has to leave the company.

Match Number Five: Kurt Angle versus Sting in a King of the Mountain Qualifying Match

They shake hands at the start of the match. They lock up and Angle with a clean break. They lock up again and Angle with another clean break. Angle with a side head lock and take down. Sting with a head scissors and Angle escapes. They lock up and Angle with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Sting with a side head lock and shoulder tackles and Angle goes to the floor. We go to commercial.

We are back and Angle is back in the ring and Angle with a kick and forearm. Angle with a European uppercut and suplex for a near fall. Sting with a back elbow and a clothesline that sends Angle over the top rope to the floor. Sting goes out after Angle and he punches him. Sting with more punches as they go around the ringside area. Angle returns to the ring and Sting misses a Stinger Splash. Angle with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Angle with a back breaker for a near fall. Angle with a side head lock but Sting gets to his feet and escapes. Angle with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Angle with a snap mare into a waist lock and we go to commercial.

We are back and Sting with an elbow followed by an Irish whip but Angle with a boot when Sting charges. Sting and Angle each with clotheslines and both men are down. Sting and Angle with punches and Sting with clotheslines. Sting with a Stinger Splash and then he hits a second one. Sting with a suplex for a near fall. Angle with the Three Rivers German suplex combination. The straps are down. Angle tries for the Olympic Slam but Sting blocks it and he tries for the Scorpion Death Lock but Angle is able to counter and he applies the ankle lock. Sting sends Angle into the turnbuckles. Sting with a power bomb and then he gets a near fall. Angle sends Sting into the corner after countering the Scorpion Death Drop. Angle charges into the corner and Sting moves and hits the ring post. Sting with the Scorpion Death Drop but Matt Morgan’s presence at ringside distracts the referee. Morgan hits Sting from the apron and then Angle with the Olympic Slam for the three count.
Winner: Kurt Angle

After the match, Matt Morgan enters the ring to applaud Kurt’s victory. Angle pushes Morgan but Morgan pushes back. Security and other referees enter the ring to separate Angle and Morgan. We go to credits.

Last night I was tired so I put a blanket over me and stretched out on my couch and caught myself dozin off durin Impact, well when I woke up Sting and Kurt's match was over and I was wonderin why Matt Morgan was in the ring tryin to raise Kurt's arm? Kel I owe u a huge thank you for postin this cause now all of questions have been answered!
