Don West is making deals before the show. Decent crowd, mix of ages, more 18-35 folks though. Pretty great show, we sat ringside so we could sometimes hear or clearly see guys calling spots.
Now onto the show.
Borash said the loudest fans would go backstage, then a security guy came out and got heat for AJ saying he didn't want anyone back there.
Shannon Moore-Kaz opened, Kaz didn't even come out with the X-Division Title. Really sloppy, several botched spots. Moore got the win after several false finishes as the time limit winded down. Moore had a chain with a Book of Dilligaf with spikes through it, very dumb.
Beautiful People-Tara and Angelina Love. Crowd was hot for it, decent match. BP wins with belt shot to Love. They were without Lacey.
Jeff Jarret-Rhino, crowd was hot for Jarrett, booed Rhino. Rhino was heeling the crowd bad, but controlled the match most of the way. Jarrett gets the win with the stroke after Rhino misses the gore.
D'Angelo Dinero-Desmond Wolfe up next. Dinero wins a decent match with the Elijah Express or whatever its called now. Dinero was super over. He worked the crowd after the match, kids really loved him
Apparently Matt Morgan can defend the titles with whomever. Rob Terry and him defended against Team 3D. We overheard Morgan telling Rob Terry that the people in the back screwed up by playing 3D's music too soon. Morgan and Terry won, then Morgan laid out Terry. Then 3D put Morgan through a table and dedicated it to the men and women from Ft Benning (local base).
Main Event- Angle-Styles. AJ got a decent pop, his hometown isn't far from Columbus. AJ wasn't wearing his Flair-like hoodie/robe. JB announced it was for the title, AJ said he wasn't defending it. The match was non-title. Angle got the biggest pop of the night. Best match of the show, Angle gets the win with the Angle slam. Crowd went nuts for Angle.
