A San Antonio man is recovering Friday morning after he was struck by an 18-wheeler on Loop 410.
The victim and another man were driving on Loop 410 near Space Center Drive about 3 a.m. when one of the men got sick and needed to get out of the vehicle.
While out on the highway, the man jumped in front of a big rig and tried to punch it with his fists.
The 18-wheeler tried to swerve around the man, but ended up brushing him aside.
The man got a big gash on his head, but he refused an ambulance ride to a hospital.
He said he wanted to take himself for medical treatment.
No one else was hurt.
