Chanel West Coast was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning for alleged battery. The star, who is signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment label, was reportedly embroiled in a fight inside 1OAK nightclub in Los Angeles and escorted off the premises, before getting involved in a dispute with security guards.
A citizen's arrest was made and the 26-year-old rapper, real name Chelsea Chanel Dudley, was held until police officers arrived to arrest her for battery before taking her to a West Hollywood jail.
Dudley, who also co-hosts comedy video show Ridiculousness, was still in custody as WENN went to press. Her bail was set at $500.
