According to an exclusive article with InsideFighting.com, Tito Ortiz has agreed to take the UFC 61 bout against Ken Shamrock despite initially pulling out due to a numerous amount of injuries.

Apparently Ortiz suffered a broken leg during the Forrest Griffin fight, in addition to the leg injuries he brought with him to the bout.

Ortiz told the website he called UFC president Dana White and told him he's willing to fight Shamrock in July despite his injuries, and claims White was thrilled to hear this news.

Does this mean Forrest Griffin is back out, and Tito Ortiz is back in? Time will tell, but according to Tito Ortiz, it looks that way.

Either way if Ortiz looses he will use the injury as an excuse so why not let Forest fight Ken and get him more exposure.
