Tales of Monkey Island Headlines New Wii and DSi Downloads Today

It's another week without any Virtual Console releases, but the scheduled release on WiiWare of Tales of Monkey Island's first episode, Launch of the Screaming Narwhal, more than makes up for it. This first episode costs 1,000 Wii Points ($10), making it the most expensive new title this week. Two other new WiiWare games are now available as well: The Three Musketeers: One for All! (900 points, $9), a good looking action-platformer that you can see in action right here, and HB Arcade Cards(500 points, $5), a collection of card games including Rummy, Hearts, Euchre, Canasta, Cribbage, and Solitaire. DSiWare gets just a single release, Sudoku Student(200 points, $2). The game claims to be made for beginners to Sudoku and includes both a tutorial and some simple Sudoku puzzles. Depending on just how many puzzles are included, this might be a real bargain.
