No Mandatory Installation For Uncharted 2

Naughty Dog has some good news for those of you who like to play your games as soon as you boot up your systems. It looks like there will be no mandatory installation for Uncharted 2.
The news comes from Naughty Dog co-president Christophe Balestra, who tweeted, "Uncharted 2 does not require any install."

Not a lot of room for misinterpretation there. There will be no need to go make a sandwich while waiting for Uncharted 2 to finish installing.

Balestra's statement came as an attempt to clear up confusion that had arisen after a typo appeared on the boxart that stated that there would be a mandatory 1.7 gigabyte installation. No worries about that though.

Uncharted 2 will be arriving on October 13.
