(8) IWGP Tag Championship 3WAY Match: [73rd Champions] Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano vs. [Challengers] Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma vs. [Challengers] Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr.
◆Winner: Yano (13:35) with a School Boy on Makabe.
~ 1st successful title defense.
~ Yano and Ishii proved to be an effective team as the secure their reign as the champion.


(9) IWGP Heavyweight Championship Match: [65th Champion] Kazuchika Okada vs. [Challenger] Minoru Suzuki
◆Winner: Okada (40:46) following the Rainmaker.
~ 3rd successful title defense.
~ Suzuki’s repeated assaults over the last week did not give him the final edge to defeat the champion. As he took every chance to assault Okada in and out of the ring leading up to the match.
~ No one came forward to challenge Okada after the match, but he expects the winner of next months “NEW JAPAN CUP” to be ready.
~ Okada also hinted that he wants a match against the mysterious Tiger Mask W.
