Trailer and Release Date For A24's "The Iron Claw" Movie About The Von Erich Family
The official trailer has been released for The Iron Claw, the upcoming feature film documenting the tragic story about the legendary Von Erich wrestling Family.
"The Von Erich family becomes a dynasty of professional wrestlers who make history, but a series of tragic events tests their strength and spirit."
Written and directed by Sean Durkin and produced and distributed by A24, The Iron Claw stars:
- Jeremy Allen White as Kerry Von Erich
- Zac Efron as Kevin
- Harris Dickinson as David
- AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman as Lance)
- Holt McCallany as Fritz
- Maura Tierney as Doris
The roles of Ric Flair and Harley Race will be portrayed by Aaron Dean Eisenberg and Kevin Anton.
Iron Claw arrives in theaters on December 22, 2023.
Marshall Von Erich, son of of Kevin Von Erich, confirmed our exclusive report that the Von Erich family had no involvement in the making of The Iron Claw.
Marshall responded to the movie trailer by saying he knew "it wouldn't be 100% accurate" because his father wasn't involved, but says anybody that knows the Von Erich Family knows that God played a major role in their story.
