WRESTLE-1 TOUR 2017 OUTBREAK, 6/6/2017 [Tue] 19:00 @ Korakuen Hall in Tokyo

~ Keiji Mutoh announced that “PRO-WRESTLING MASTERS” will be returning on July 26 at the Korakuen Hall.
~ The main event will feature Tatsumi Fujinami, Riki Choshu, and a mystery partner taking on the team of Great Muta, The Great Kabuki, and TNT (Savio Vega).

(1) Andy Wu, Yusuke Kodama, Kumagoro & Kohei Fujimura vs. Masayuki Mitomi, Jun Tonsho, Hajime & Soma Sumeragi
♦Winner: Fujimura (8:04) with a Modified Camel Clutch on Hajime.
~ Fujimura claimed his final win before he is set to embark on his first ever excursion to Mexico. He said his goodbye to those in attendance as he stated that he wants to come back better and stronger.
~ After the match, the ring was quickly fixed as Kumagoro apparently broke a board after a Diving Senton.

(2) Hana Kimura & Saori Anno vs. Reika Saiki & Natsumi Manki
♦Winner: Hana (7:27) following a Brainbuster on Saiki.
(3) Seiki Yoshioka & Yuya Susumu vs. NOSAWA Rongai & Jay Freddie
♦Winner: Yoshioka (6:40) following a Running Ganmen (face) Kick on Freddie.

(4) Jacket contra Fan Service: Jiro “Ikemen” Kuroshio vs. Shuji Kondo
♦Winner: Kuroshio (8:40) with a Moonsault Press.
~ Since Kondo lost, he was forced to dawn a jacked and a wig and act like Kuroshio for the audience.
~ With this win, Kuroshio stated that his next goal is to become a champion in W-1.

~ The “WRESTLE-1 GP 2017” was announced to be held on July 12. The one-night tournament will feature 8 wrestlers competing to earn a shot for the W-1 Championship on September 2 in Yokohama.
~ The first round matches are as follows… Kono vs. Inaba, Kondo vs. A.C.E. wrestler, Soya vs. Kumagoro, Kuroshio vs. (loser of Ashino vs Doi). Inaba is currently out with injury, is expected to return in time for the show.

(5) WRESTLE-1 Cruiserweight Championship Match: [9th Champion] MAZADA vs. [Challenger] Kaz Hayashi
♦Winner: MAZADA (12:23) following the Masada-Otoshi.
~ 1st successful title defense.
~ Andy and Yoshioka came forward after the match to confront the champion, but MAZADA refused them both.

(6) WRESTLE-1 Tag Championship Match: [9th Champions] Masayuki Kono & Takanori Ito vs. [Challengers] Manabu Soya & Ganseki Tanaka
♦Winner: Ito (15:56) with a German Suplex Hold on Ganseki.
~ 1st successful title defense.
~ During the backstage interview, Kumagoro appeared and made it known that he wants another chance at the belts.

(7) WRESTLE-1 Championship Match: [11th Champion] Shotaro Ashino vs. [Challenger] Koji Doi
♦Winner: Ashino (18:28) with an Ankle Lock.
~ 3rd successful title defense.
~ Ashino asserted himself as the rightful champion, as those who were announced to compete in the upcoming Grand Prix appeared.
~ Ashino declared that this is his ring, but he wants them all to do their best in the upcoming tournament.
