Kurt Angle Taking Extended Hiatus; Vince McMahon in Full Control of ECW

The reason that Kurt Angle has done two recent jobs (losing to Randy Orton at Vengeance and again on ECW on Sci-Fi to Rob Van Dam) is because he will be taking an extended hiatus to heal from injury. This does not come unexpected as Angle has been bothered by chronic neck problems, which makes many industry critics question WWE’s move to revolve the new ECW brand around the Olympic Gold Medalist.

Despite hopes from hardcore ECW fans, Vince McMahon is going to take full control of the ECW brand after initially giving Paul Heyman a measure of power last week. As with anything, McMahon likes to be the number one guy in charge
