    Mickie James Interview - Inside

When WWE hits Bossier City next month, there'll be no need for cheap heat or even canned heat. In fact, promoters expect high-spirited fans to pack the house at CenturyTel Center to see a full complement of muscle-bound superstars and show-stopping divas.

"It's going to be a super show," said Mickie James. "Fans will get to see not just myself but also Triple H, Randy Orton and Christian."

And that's just a small portion of what's on tap for wrestling fans Dec. 5 when World Wrestling Entertainment brings its Supershow to the Shreveport/Bossier City area for three hours of mind-bending action.

James is one such diva fans might recall for her 2005 storyline with Trish Stratus in which she played Stratus' biggest fan turned obsessed stalker.

In order for the uninitiated to get wrestling, it might be good to imagine soap operas on steroids where men are superstars, women are divas and both are characters fans love to hate and hate to love.

"Love me or hate me, as long as they're reacting that's all that matters to me," James said.

After about a year of "stalking" Stratus, James went on to win her first WWE Women's Championship at Wrestlemania 22, a title she has held a total of four times.

James also won her first Divas Championship at Night of Champions in 2009 to become the second diva to hold both the women's and divas titles.

James takes on Beth Phoenix in a Smackdown Diva Match here next month.

For James, wrestling has always been a family event. In fact, "it was a bonding thing," said James, who grew up watching wrestling with her dad and little brother.

And now the family watches big sister.

"They're very supportive," she said. "They're in my corner every step of the way."

Success, however, was not overnight for this dark-haired diva.

"I trained, trained, trained, and then I'd drive 400 miles for 20 bucks to perform in front of 40 people," James recalled. "I guess you could say I chose the road less traveled."

It's a road James continues to travel 250 nights of the year. But it's one she wouldn't trade.

"The WWE fuels my fire," she said. "There's no feeling like the roar of the crowd."
