Japanese legend Antonio Inoki was officially announced for the WWE Hall of Fame on Raw tonight, a week after his induction was announced in Japan.

Although not announced on Raw, Stan Hansen will be inducting Inoki.

WWE Confirms Second HOF 2010 Inductee On RAW

WWE confirmed what we reported several weeks ago, that Japanese legend Antonio Inoki will indeed be inducted into the 2010 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame.

WWE has officially announced Inoki as well as "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase for this year's class. Tune into RAW each week to find out a new inductee.

Who Will Induct 'The Million Dollar Man' Into The HOF?

WWE Superstar Ted DiBiase noted on his Twitter account that he and his younger brother (WWE developmental wrestler Brett DiBiase) will be inducting their father, "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, into the WWE Hall of Fame.

"For those curious... Myself and younger brother will be inducting my father," DiBiase wrote.

"The Million Dollar Man" and Antonio Inoki are the first two confirmed names for this year's Hall of Fame class. Inoki is expected to be inducted by Stan Hansen. The third inductee for this year's Hall of Fame class will be revealed tomorrow night on RAW.

Awesome to see Wendi Richter in the HOF, she was a huge star in the 80s when there were not many women wrestling.

Wow. Richter must have finally gotten over the fact that Vince didn't want to give her extra money to resign back in the '80s.

With all these old stars getting on good terms with Vince, will some of them reach out and get the ONE person the WWE Hall Of Fame is missing that will give it more credibility.....BRUNO SAMMARTINO?

One source suggested that Primo recently being featured on RAW and Superstars as well as Carlito being named a WWE NXT Pro may be due to their father, Carlos Colon, being pitched for this year's WWE Hall of Fame. However, with Antonio Inoki already being inducted this year, they may not want to go with two international stars.

The original plan for the 2010 WWE Hall of Fame was to make former WWF Champion The Ultimate Warrior as the star inductee.

Warrior originally agreed to be inducted into the Hall of Fame but he made the decision last week to pull out of the Hall of Fame, according to WWE sources.

It's believed that Stu Hart will be announced next week on RAW

I won't argue with those, but... the only one, besides Savage and Sammartino, that I think has any chance of being inducted is Arn Anderson. You'll never, ever, ever see Benoit inducted and since Misawa and Hansen were never actually in the WWE, I don't see either of them being inducted. Chris Candido is possible, maybe, but his run in WWE was little else than a terrible gimmick and definitely not a high spot in his career.

As for Carlos Colon, I think he definitely deserves it and I hope he does get in.
