- Daniel Bryan does in fact have a 90 day non-compete clause, but it only relates to TNA. He can work any indy dates at any time. He’ll still be getting paid until September 11th.

In many respects his release has caused more interest than when he was on NXT. If the company brings him back in a few months when whatever happened blows over, they could turn it in to a work anyway.

We’ve been told the door was open and he has several people including Cena, William Regal and HBK that want him back; so one would assume the company is aware of the controversy and will eventually use it to their benefit like the Matt Hardy/Edge situation, when Matt was released briefly and came back hotter than ever.
