Samoa Joe, who has held multiple championships throughout his time in TNA, tweeted earlier today that he is leaving the company. In current story lines on Impact Wrestling, Joe has been part of the Beat Down Clan and he held the X-Division title in 2014.

In the past, there's been healthy speculation that Triple H is a fan of Samoa Joe's work. This was fueled when he briefly followed Joe on Twitter last year.

As noted earlier, Samoa Joe announced on Twitter today that he has left the company.
PWInsider reports that the departure is legitimate and the split was described as "amicable."
