Drew McIntyre is back on WWE television.

The former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion made his return on Monday’s episode of RAW at the top of the show when WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair introduced him. McIntyre will be on Team Flair to take on Team Hogan at Crown Jewel.

McIntyre’s return was expected as he had been spotted at recent WWE TV events. He took on Ricochet in a singles match on this same show.

The WWE RAW star joins Randy Orton, Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Shinsuke Nakamura on Team Flair. They’ll take on Roman Reigns, Rusev, Ricochet, Ali, and Chad Gable in a 5-on-5 Traditional Tag Team Match.

McIntyre had been out of action after undergoing an operation to repair a lingering injury, which came up after his recent promotional tour of Mexico.

The belief is that both sides wanted him to get the surgery done and out of the way. Both sides hoped he will be ready for the fall TV push and the build to WrestleMania 36 season, which appears to still be on track.

WWE presents the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium.
