Mexican wrestling legend Konnan has reportedly been hospitalized. Dave Meltzer confirmed the news on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.
It was noted on the show that he was taken in due to a kidney issue. Meltzer noted that the condition is serious, but there are currently no further details on Konnan at this time.
The former LAX leader previously had a kidney transplant in 2007, where there were complications following the surgery. Konnan confirmed after the fact that he was in good health.
The IMPACT and MLW signed star has previously stated that painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs “ruined his kidney.”
