Spoiler on Edge vs. Dolph Ziggler at WWE's Royal Rumble

- It was announced at last night's WWE SmackDown tapings that if Edge uses the spear at Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view, he will automatically lose the match against Dolph Ziggler and Ziggler will win the World Heavyweight Title.

The ruling came from Vickie Guerrero, who is in charge of SmackDown now that Teddy Long is out of action. Vickie declared that the spear is now banned.

another stipulation used over and over hopefully edge retaines tho i dont think ziggler is ready for a world title run yet.

Edge4 is the heavy favourite to retain and he will do so.

This is just to try and get people thinking that Dolph may have a chance now.

Yeah, just more stacking the deck against Edge and furthering the storyline of Vickie trying to have Dolph win the title by any means necessary. Edge will still retain.
