Frank Whaley has joined the cast of Raymond De Felitta’s crime drama “Rob the Mob,” opposite Michael Pitt and Nina Arianda.

The movie, currently in production, is produced by Bill Teitler, whose credits include “What Maisie Knew” and “Jumanji.” The Exchange is selling international markets at Cannes.

Whaley will portray a private detective who investigates a couple — portrayed by Pitt and Arianda — who brazenly steal from mob-run social clubs in New York City until they stumble upon a coveted list of every mafioso in town. Andy Garcia and Ray Romano also star.

Whaley’s feature credits include “Pulp Fiction” and “World Trade Center.” He has a recurring role on Showtime’s upcoming “Ray Donovan.”

Whaley is represented by APA and Thruline Entertainment.
