In an interesting turn of events, the bantamweight battle between Aljamain Sterling and Bryan Caraway will anchor UFC Fight Pass coverage of UFC Fight Night 88, the promotion confirmed on Tuesday.

The event takes place May 29 from Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Two other 135-pound fighters, Thomas Almeida and Cody Garbrandt, square off in the FOX Sports 1 main event.

Sterling (12-0) has won four bouts since signing with the UFC, including recent submissions of Johnny Eduardo and Takeya Mizugaki to find himself ranked in the Top-5. Caraway (20-7) is 3-1 over his last four and 5-2 during his UFC career.

The card also includes Renan Barao vs. Jeremy Stephens, Tarec Saffiedine vs. Rick Story and Jorge Masvidal vs. Lorenz Larkin.
