Shanna dropped a single’s match to Hikaru Shida this week on Dynamite in her debut for AEW. “Portugal’s Perfect Athlete” has now signed a 3-year deal with the promotion and will be full-time.

The news was first broken in a Portuguese language interview then later confirmed by Cody.

She was excellent. And she’s full-time!

The 37-year-old from Lisbon, Portugal (billed from Nimes, France) is a 13-year pro, having made her debut in 2006. She wrestled 2 matches for Impact Wrestling in 2014, losing to Gail Kim and Jazzy Gabert. She’s also competed for SHINE and World Wonder Ring Stardom.

In Stardom, she is a former High Speed Champion. She won the title from Kris Wolf in the summer of 2017. Shanna would only hold the title for 4 weeks, however, and dropped it to Mary Apache on August 13th, 2017.

Shanna is a practitioner of Boxing, Karate, Muay Thai, and Capoeira.
