Andre Villas-Boas is looking to field a settled side at Tottenham Hotspur and is ready to hand one of his goalkeepers a regular run.

Since signing France international Hugo Lloris from Lyon over the summer, the Spurs boss has rotated his shot-stoppers in domestic and European competition.

Brad Friedel was favoured in Premier League action, with Lloris forced to make do with sporadic run-outs in the Europa League.

Lloris was, however, handed a starting berth for Sunday's 3-1 victory over capital rivals West Ham United and Villas-Boas has now hinted that the number one jersey could be his for keeps.

"The main thing here is both keepers have been doing extremely well," said the Portuguese tactician.

"We've been shifting the keepers not on bad performances but on good performances.

"We want to give them a run of continuity for them to feel stabilised. It's important for them and for the team too."
