A Ghandi gimmick? That's kind of silly. I won't say it sucks but it's silly. I'll see how this plays out and THEN form an oppinion.As advertised on Thursday's edition of Impact, Sonjay Dutt will be debuting his new persona during next week's edition of Impact. Details on his new gimmick have leaked out.
He's going to be doing a "Ghandi" gimmick. He's going to be wearing clothes that Ghandi would wear and preach non-violence to people. TNA officials wanted him to wear turban with a jewel in the middle and dress like a stereotypical Indian person, but he nixed the idea. He joked that TNA should have him drive a cab as well.

Yeah I read about this yesterday and to be honest I thought it was a joke. Evidently as the word as spread, they really are giving Sonjay this "Ghandi" gimmick. Is it me, or does it just seem like TNA is flying by the seat of their pants alot more than they used to? This really seems like it's coming out of left field, but I guess it might turn out to be good.

I was hoping he would act like Hogan that way him and "Black Machismo" can form the "New Collosol Connection". Now that would have been funny. This Ghandi gimmick sounds stupid.

That's exactly what I was hoping too, a re-formation of "The Allied Powers" or something like that. I feel like TNA really dropped the ball on this opportunity.
