I don't mind it and it sets TNA apart from the rest of the wrestling companies.

TNA actually got there ring from AAA. AAA has a six sided ring and they have more Lucha Libre wrestling and well at the time, I suppose TNA was pushing the X division as that was the reason for them getting popular so they made the switch from 4 side's to six side's but I'm not sure. In my opinion the six sided ring give's them identity. It's what make's them different then promotion's like WWE, ROH, CZW and such. I think the ring is more benficial than negative. It allow's the X divivision wrestler's to do more and it really doesn't hurt the main event like matches with the bigger men. In the end it add's more phsycology to the matches.

I like how the ring supports high flying moves, but sometimes it seems as if the ring is a little bit too small for some wrestlers.

With that logic, you could say WWE got there four-sided ring from the NWA or from pro boxing. It doesn't really matter that someone else used a certain type of ring first.

What is Greatness? How do you define it?

I'd say the only real advantage of having a six-sided ring would be to have larger tag matches.
