The plan to have TNA Bound for Glory on 10/14 in Chicago looks to be scrapped since WWE is running the No Mercy PPV in Chicago a week earlier on 10/7. Charlotte, Norfolk, Atlanta and Greenville are all being considered as hosts for the PPV.
- Sonjay Dutt required an MRI for a recent shoulder tear. Agent Terry Taylor told Dutt that TNA would not be paying for the MRI.
- TNA has had talks about bringing in Giant Bernard who was A-Train in WWE. Bernard and Tomko are the IWGP Tag Team champions in Japan.
- Even though Konnan has quit the company, TNA sent him a letter saying he had been suspended for missing the last two shows without notice. The letter said that Konnan can't talk negative about the company while being suspended. Konnan has also been asked to pay TNA back the money that was loaned to him for his hip replacement surgery.
