    Default Konnan Hospitalized

Konnan was hospitalized yesterday in Tijuana, Mexico with problems that stem from his kidney replacement surgery. His body was rejecting the donor kidney. He will remain in the hospital until tomorrow, at the earliest, and will remain under observations. If his body doesn’t respond well to the anti-rejection drugs, he will be held longer.

In related news, Konnan was scheduled to make his return to AAA this week at their TV tapings, this is obviously not going to happen.

Major Backstage Update On Konnan & TNA Wrestling

As noted earlier, TNA recently sent Konnan a letter saying he had been suspended for no-showing TV. Even after he quit. There is some talk that the company may file suit against him, but others have advised against it because of the feeling that with Konnan, the case could get "really dirty."

Former TNA star Konnan was hospitalized yesterday in Tijuana, Mexico with problems stemming from the aftermath of his kidney replacement surgery due to issues with his body rejecting the donor kidney. Konnan will be kept for observation until tomorrow at the earliest, but it could be significantly longer if he doesn't respond well to anti-rejection drugs. He won't be appearing at this week's AAA TV tapings in Mexico obviously. He actually planned on making his return at said tapings.

Konnan's kidney replacement surgery last week in Tijuana was a big success, and he was at home writing notes to people on MySpace within a couple of days. As noted, his plans are to be back in the ring working a regular schedule by the end of the year. The doctor said that his donor's blood matches his so closely that they could have been brothers, and that the operation went perfectly.
