National Wrestling Superstars to have a Man of Steele, a Giant Pair, and Sunny Weather as Part of a Double-Shot Weekend October 5th-6th

Summer is officially over. The leaves are starting to turn. Summer vacation is now a distant memory.

Except, the nation's leader in family-themed pro wrestling entertainment National Wrestling Superstars never took any summer vacation as they rocked the tri-state area all summer. And now they're kicking off their Fall & Winter tour with a double-shot weekend of mega shows October 5th & 6th in two of their most popular locations.

On Friday night October 5th, NWS returns to the home of the annual J-Cup Tournament, central Jersey's favorite site for pro wrestling, the Manville, NJ V.F.W. Hall, 600 Washington Avenue (just off South Main Street and only minutes from Routes 28 and 287), with a 7:45pm bell time.

The "Man of Steele" is none other than George "The Animal" Steele, that colorful turnbuckle-eating WWE legend who will be guiding his very Odd-It-Tee type of team, featuring the masked 400+ pound dancing Goal-Duh (and his South Park friend Cartman) and the one-time WWE 7'5" monster Giant Silva, who will battle former ECW brawler The Equalizer & WWE bad boy Salvatore Sincere in the main event.

Also making a return to these parts will be Tammy Sytch (a.k.a. the original WWE diva Sunny), whose role on card has not been announced as of yet, but anything is possible... hey, that's pro wrestling.

Also vying for spots on this all-star card will be women's favorite Princess Little Feather battling the vicious Alicia, and making their Manville debut is the team known as The Insane Hillbillies, plus area favorite (with permission to leave the reservation) Indian Warrior Draven.

And on Saturday night October 6th, the cast and crew will journey down the Garden State Parkway to the Jersey Shore wrestling hotspot that consistently sees 100% sellouts and ticket scalpers, the Brick, NJ Elks Lodge, 2491 Hooper Avenue (only minutes from Route 70 and the Brick Plaza), with a 7:35pm bell time.

The fans who couldn't make it to Manville the previous night will have another opportunity to see the original WWE diva Sunny, the original WWE turnbuckle eater George "The Animal" Steele, and the not-so-original (but still not to be missed) New Odd-It-Tees Giant Silva & Goal-Duh, as they will make encore appearances in Brick as well.

There will also be a very heavily anticipated bout, actually the 5th bout in the series of Hardcore battles, as J.C. Rage locks horns with his nemesis Hyena. Also vying for ring time will be newcomer Ryan Blackburn, plus a girl's bout featuring perennial fan favorite Princess Little Feather taking on Talia. This will be one for the record books.

Tickets for these not-to-be-missed show are only $18 for adults and $16 for children and seniors, and can be ordered by phone at (732) 888-1704. All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.

Keep reading this publication for further updates, as more exciting names and matches will be added in the coming weeks.

RESULTS : PTW Wrestling - "Indestructible", Fri Sept 21st, Luton!‏

Here's the results from Power Trip Wrestling "Indestructible", on what was another wild and crazy night at PTW; with a typically rowdy and loud Luton audience.

* The show started with PTW Owner Peter Staniforth coming out, welcoming the fans, giving two (signed by PTW wrestlers) cards out to fans who were celebrating their birthday; and then being interrupted by no less than Keego Ward. Demanding to be in the main event, Keego continually tried to provoke Peter into this; and was failing each time until he bared his now infamous backside to Peter's fiancee' Chrissie and two children Andrew and Victoria, who were at the merchandise table. Peter's infamous hotheaded temper snapped, and he chose to put Keego Ward into the main event purely because "I want to see three guys kick the hell out of you for what you just did".... Keego then attacked a member of the audience, warning Peter this could happen to him, and Shabazz came out to make the save - but was attacked by Lucian....which then brought Sykes from the back....and all four men went at it outside the ring until Peter exercised his authority and told them that if they didn't get backstage right that second, he'd cancel the main event.

* PTW CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE - Dan Ryder defeated G 'The Ghetto Superstar' to become the NEW PTW Cruiserweight champion. Interference before and after from Ryder's valet, and also no less than Danny Devine (making his first appearance in PTW); would lead to this title victory.

* TAG TEAM ACTION - Wheeler & D Kid defeated 'Special Agent' Nick Bourne & 'Hotshot' Tyler Haze.

* NUMBER 1 CONTENDERSHIP FOR THE PTW HARDCORE TITLE - Frantastic and American All-Star defeated Leon X. As you would imagine, this lead to confusion who the number one contender would be. Leon X called out Peter Staniforth from the back, and said that he felt in these circumstances all three men should be top contender for the title - and Peter made a four way 'Last Man Standing In Luton' match for the PTW Hardcore Title on Saturday 27th October!

* PTW Hardcore Champion Jim Brooks & Andy Simmonz w/PTW Owner Peter Staniforth defeated Gangster & Hubert. This one hit hard, with chants of "PTW! PTW!" from the crowd, and a popular victory for the crowd favourites. After the match, Jim Brooks took Hubert over to Peter's children, and Peter's daughter Victoria put Hubert into her feared 'Woo-Lock' submission hold (how many nearly five year old girls have one of those?!), and Peter's son Andrew hit Hubert with a plastic clipboard to the head. Clearly, PTW will be in good hands when it comes to management in the future!

* AMERICAN STARS IN ACTION - Lance Malibu defeated Blackjack Phoenix. Afterwards, Gangster came out and said how England "hates Americans.....and we don't need you here". Peter Staniforth came out and suggested Gangster showed his guests a LOT more respect then he was, Gangster threatened Staniforth in the corner, and when Peter said "Before you do anything else...turn around", Gangster turned round and ate a HUGE clothesline from Blackjack Phoenix!!! The crowd cheered both men, as Peter took the microphone and thanked them sincerely for being there and working for PTW. Once again, we thank both men for wrestling for PTW, they were a pleasure to have, and we wish them all the luck in the world with their careers and hope that they make it big in the WWE!

* Rich N' Famous & Geraden defeated Seb Drea & Rolling Aikeda. Rich N' Famous would then turn on his partner for the evening, Geraden. and leave him laying; proving he needs no-one but himself and his regular Players Club colleagues in Power Trip Wrestling.

* In a hard hitting match, and one of the best of the night; Ashe defeated Brian Braddock.

* MAIN EVENT - TBW HEAVYWEIGHT AND BRAWL HEAVYWEIGHT TITLES ON THE LINE - Shabazz retained and kept hold of his titles, by defeating Keego Ward, Sykes, and Lucian; in what was a wild, crazy, with action all around the venue; main event! Peter Staniforth was ringside for the match, and got some measure of revenge with a vicious shot with his steel clipboard to Keego Ward's head. After the match, Peter announced the PTW Heavyweight Title Tournament for Saturday 27th October, and entered Shabazz into it!

Results from NECW's AUTUMN UNLEASHED This Past Saturday Night, September 22 in Quincy, MA!‏

NECW returned to the National Guard Armory in Quincy, MA Saturday night, September 22nd in front of another packed house for AUTUMN UNLEASHED.

In the opening contest, former WWW Champion, Tanya Lee, with Sean Gorman, defeated Violet Flame with a tope rope neck breaker.

The Forgotten came to the ring talking about legacies in NECW and that they are forced to revive theirs under masks. They also alluded to injuring Frankie Arion, who was not in the building, which brought out Alex Arion. Alex said he had found a tag partner for the night and out ran Jason Blade. The two of them hit the ring and The Forgotten ran and headed to the back saying the match would happen later.

Scott Osbourne, with his new manager Brian Cairo, defeated “RIOT” Kellan Thomas with a modified Fisherman’s Buster.

Former Triple Crown Champion, DC Dillinger came to the ring complaining about not being given a title rematch immediately. Brian Fury came out and said the championship committee had signed him to face another wrestler tonight, but he had a friend who desperately wants to get his hands on Eddie Edwards. Seeing as Edwards isn’t here, you’re the next best thing. “The Infamous” Bobby Fish snuck in the ring and was then standing behind Dillinger. The surprised Dillinger and Fish went directly into a great match from there.

“The Infamous” Bobby Fish defeated DC Dillinger, with Sean Gorman and Tanya Lee, following a flying knee strike. After the match the former NECW Triple Crown Champion was visibly distraught.

The Forgotten defeated Alex Arion and Jason Blade with a spiked pile driver on Blade. During the match, Arion missed a dive to the outside and looked to injure his knee. This left Blade alone to face the two masked wrestlers and lead to him getting pinned.

"The Human Nightmare" Evan Siks was then announced to come to the ring, but did not. His music hit again, but he again did not come out. While a confused Chris Norman stood in the ring, Evan Siks crawled from the back. Seconds later out stalked Michael Sane, who had apparently starting attacking Siks before he made his entrance. The two fought around ringside until Sane sent Siks headfirst through a chair propped in the ring. One Straight Jacket Driver later and three referees were finally able to get Sane from the ring. Siks refused assistance to the back, but essentially crawled to the locker room area.

NECW TV Champion “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke and “Big” Rick Fuller battled to a hard-hitting time limit draw.

In his first title defense, NECW Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion “Straight Edge” Brian Fury defeated “The Exotic” Kristian Frost by pin fall after the bridging power bomb. Fury was attacked by D.C. Dillinger after the match and it was announced that Dillinger was granted a rematch with Fury for next month in Quincy.

NECW returns to live action this coming Saturday night, September 29 at the National Guard Armory in Danvers, MA.

Tickets for this event are on sale now at all FYE locations and online at www.NECWwrestling.com.

IZW Sept 25th in AZ!‏

Impact Zone Wrestling, an Arizona based pro-wrestling organization in conjunction with the IZW wrestling school, has signed 8 individuals to WWE including Melina, Luther Reigns, Mike Knox, and Justin Roberts. Various superstars such as John Cena, The Miz, A-Train, Tito Santana, Big Bossman, Greg Valentine, Jimmy Snuka, Deuce (of Deuce and Domino) and more have performed in the IZW ring. The Arizona New Times newspaper named IZW the best place to catch a rising WWE superstar and that is so true.

It all started July 2, 2007, when Lawrence Tyler and Lil' Nate signed a contract for the Best of Five series. Now, it is almost over and everything will come down to a climatic Match #5. It will be contested under "Anything Goes," which is fitting since both men have to bring everything they are worth in order to be recognized as the best in IZW.

Mike G has been a contender for the past several months. This week, he has found himself as the #1 contender and the next challenger for the IZW World championship. Hawaiian Lion has been going nonstop since March, and he is not coming into the match at 100%. Considering Mike G has built his reputation on upsets, this next title defense might be Lion's last.

Come out for all your favorite IZW wrestlers including Peter Goodman, G. Q. Gallo, Jacob "The Riot" Herzberg, and the newest team of New York's Finest who have challenged the reigning IZW Tag Team champions Mucha & Lucha Reigns.

The action takes place this Tuesday night (September 25th) at The Sets (next to LA Fitness Mill/Southern) in Tempe, AZ at 7:30pm. Tickets are only $7 at the door and all ages are welcome. Food and beverages are available as are televisions, pool, ping pong, darts and more!

This and so much more will provide great entertainment for you and your entire family! Come to The Sets this Tuesday night to catch the Superstars not only of today, but also tomorrow! Be sure to arrive early, because seating is limited!

Thank you for your support!
