Default Brock Lesnar Talks About Last Night's UFC Debut

Brock Lesnar spoke to Yahoo! Sports last night shortly after his submission loss to Frank Mir at UFC 81: “Breaking Point”. Lesnar looked unstoppable in the early part of the fight, but he just got by a submission specialist.

There’s no shame in losing. I lost my first amateur wrestling match as a kid. My coach told me when I was wanting to quit, that you first have to lose before you learn how not to lose. I don’t like to lose so I have to learn not to lose in this sport…. Obviously I’m disappointed, but it was a great experience. I must have worked on defending that leglock 1,000 times maybe. I thought I was going to get out…. I’m here for as long as I can fight here. I love what I’m doing. The company has been great.”

Like I said he would lose...people should really stop betting against me, first with Rampage...I said he would beat Chuck "no way Chuck is going to get his revenge he always does". Who was right there, and now this. "Brock is 'huge' there is no way Mir can beat him." Again who was right Can't even last a round with somebody, all the hype surrounding him and he choked.

Oh well I guess another failed sport...what's next for Brock a career in basketball? I heard the Knicks could use some help.

isn't this what he said about WWE in an interview when he won the title the first time?

    lol.
ive never cared for brock. to me, he was just another "big guy".
i did like his f5 finishing move though.
seems like he took the loss with dignity though.

You go back to the start of time. One cave guy was fighting another cave guy because his club was bigger than his or his woman had longer hair. That’s competition

He looked to be doing pretty good at first and i think that if the ref hadnt unfairly split them up for a harsh decision of blow to the back of the head Brock should have beaten him. Mir looked to be in trouble and could tell he was hurt when he got up. Lesnars inexperience cost him mainly as he never should have allowed Mir to lock on that leglock as before that Mir had done nothing. Mir sure can soak up the punishment though i will give him that.

Mir got lucky, I ain't Lesnar's biggest fan, but he was beating the crap out of Mir before he got him in the leglock!

Lesner would won the fight if the ref dnt call for the break. Mir wasn't defending himself at all. Lesner came out strong and once he has a couple matches he will be unstopable. Did you see his takedowns? Anyone how can take down and dominate a guy as experianced as mir in his first real fight will be unstoppable in time. Jus' a rookie move that cost him. Plus It's not a terrible thing that he lost, if he did win he would have all the pressure of being undefeted. Now all he has do do is train his defense. God knows his offence is unstoppable.
The fight was crazy tho I was goin crazy seeing Lesner dominate... but then it was all over. Im supprised that he tapped so fast. didn't even look like he tride to escape or fight it off. Don't male him look good. Can't wait for his next fight.
