I have an idea.
Y don't we allow guests to browse the forum. Then people will see a topic they wanna comment on and register. We may see more active members that way. I always believe it's quality not quanity. In this case quality is more members with posts, instead of 5,000 members that have under 100 posts we may see them have like 400 posts or more. Just a though

They should be able to see the threads inside the forums but not be able to see what's inside the thread or access anything except the Embedded Videos IMO. If they want the stuff, they have to join.
