    They should be able to see the threads inside the forums but not be able to see what's inside the thread or access anything except the Embedded Videos IMO. If they want the stuff, they have to join.

    It could be required to use hide code for videos, and encouraged to use it for certain types of discussion threads [like tutorials or exclusive images of any kind, even in general discussion]
