Bolton, who have lost their last five league games, might have equalised but Tomasz Kuszczak denied Kevin Davies.

Kuszczak also denied Nicky Hunt and Gavin McCann while Nani and Ronaldo almost extended United's lead.

Robbie Keane's stunning goal gave Spurs a thrilling point against Chelsea.

Didier Drogba headed Chelsea in front after three minutes but Jonathan Woodgate rose to equalise for Spurs.

Michael Essien's clever finish restored Chelsea's lead after 21 minutes and Joe Cole looked to have sealed the points with a third in the 53rd minute.

Dimitar Berbatov's header and a Tom Huddlestone strike put Spurs level, and after Cole hit his second, Keane curled in superbly two minutes from time.
Any Englishman can hate Ronaldo as much as they want in the world as a human being, that is perfectly fine, but as a player you have to simply sit back and behold the pure class, this kid cannot be stopped. As Redknapp was saying tonight, at this moment in time he has to be as good as Beckham was if not better, and he is only 23. Tonight was also a very big night for him as he set his name in stone in the Man Utd hall of fame but surpassing George Best's record of 23 goals in the league for a season, Ronaldo is now on 24 with a bit of the season to go.
