sp i got the red ring for my Xbox.....i was just going to try and clean the lens and found it was impregnable. i could see the home page or what ever with the red rings after i did this......i can't see anything on the screen at all.

it's upside down

i am without a 360 and it's back to using my trustworthy PS2 with Dragonball Z, WWE SD vs RAW 07 and 08. i'm going to miss playing oblivion, Rockband, and Gears of War.

Yup, I took mine back as soon as the stores opened, I am now on my third Xbox 360.

Yeah opening it was a big mistake, because I think that voids the warranty. You screwed yourself over man. Would have been better to send it in and let them fix it. I did that, granted it wasn't the same situation, but mine works better than ever now.

i'm probabky going to move on from the 360. it wasn't the golden egg i was looking for in video games. i havn't played Halo 3 like i thought i would. i flippen loved that game. i just couldn't get into it. i would of loved it more if i had XBL but i don't. this could be a blessing in disgise because i play videogames way too much. after rockband i could get a set of real drums and go from there. i love playing the drums. like i'm saying this could be a blessing in disguise but i love my games so there's a big possiblity i'm just going to get another one.

They definitely are built like tanks, you never see the shots of the one that was run over by a truck and still worked? Shame the red ring kills them when a truck cant otherwise our armed forces would be using them instead of tanks but in deserts they would die on you.

Compared to the PS2 they are. it's pretty easy to open it up and clean the lens. <,<

i couldn't even getinto the harddrive part. i don't have the right screw driver to even open it up. v.v

>.> i bought a 360 for 170 a few days ago only to find out that the tray can't open and it's got the RroD itself. the things i did get was three wireless controllers, a hardrive, and an unopened 360. :so i hopefully don't have to buy a new one or pay any money for the repairs. the older version is the one i owned for a year.

i got that subwoofer a day before but i fell asleep with it at full volume and it overheated too. <.< i used it to watch "I Am Legend" once, and Dragonball Z along with a few SD/TNA shows and som No Surrender matches from last year. <.< oops.
