NWA Anarchy June 7, 2008 NWA Arena Cornelia, GA

MALACHI, TK CROSS & CONSEQUENCES CREED def HOLLYWOOD
BRUNETTES and ANDREW PENDLETON III when Creed pinned
Pendleton.

TODD SEXTON def BO NEWSOME when the ref stopped the
match ruling that NEWSOME was not able to defend
himself. ACE ROCKWELL tried to attack Sexton prior to
the match but was stopped by the TECHNICIANS, and then
removed from ringside by security.

THE TEXAS TREATS (DON JUAN & CHRIS MARVAL) def THE BIG
TIME PLAYAZ (McKENZIE & MATTHEWS)

HAYDEN YOUNG & DON MATTHEWS def JEFF LEWIS & BRODY
CHASE when Young pinned Chase.

CHAD PARHAM def SAL RINAURO with a piledriver after
interference by SETH DELAY. As Parham attempted a
second piledriver, JERRY PALMER hit the ring with his
ax handle. Seth Delay hit Palmer with brass knucks
from behind, and Parham & Delay began cutting Palmer’s
hair until Rinauro recovered and use the Ax handle to
chase Delay & Parham from the ting.

JEREMY VAIN & MR ADONIS def WESTLEY GRISSON & CHIP DAY
when Vain pinned Day. Post match Vain challenged MIKAL
JUDAS to face MR ADONIS on 6-21 as the only id Judas
beat Adonis would he get a match with Vain.

THE TECHNICIANS (Bob E & Tyler) def THE WILD BUNCH
(Buck & King) after interference by TODD SEXTON. ACE
ROCKWELL went after Sexton who bailed. A Technician
attacked Rockwell only to fall to “Ace’s High”.
Rockwell was attacked again by the second Technician
but Buck recovered and delivered a big elbow to clear
him from the ring. Rockwell went after Sexton and
chased him to the back.

THE NEW WAVE (Walters & Driver) def THE DEVILS REJECTS
(Azreal & Tempers) by DQ so TRejects retained the Tag
Titles.

With NEMESIS & SLIM J each handcuffed in opposite
corners, SHADOW JACKSON faced JAY FURY. The ref end up
knocked down near Nemesis who got the handcuff key and
freed himself and with Fury managed to tape Shadow to
the ring ropes. Slim J somehow broke the handcuffs on
him and tried to stop the Concrete Gorillas but the #s
were too much and Fury was able to hook the noose
around Slims neck and Slim was hung until unconscious.
Finally the lockeroom hit the ring and security was
able to take the Gorillas from the building

NWA Anarchy TV Report bt Ca$hFlowX
Episode 120
June 2, 2008

WRESTLING: (n.) \’res-ling\ A sport of contest in which two individuals face off in unarmed combat.
ANARCHY: (n.) \an-ar-key\ (1) A state of lawlessness due to absence of authority. (2) A complete lack of order.
What happens when you mix the two together? NWA-Anarchy!

- Welcome to NWA Anarchy Wrestling, this is PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING~! Last week on NWA Anarchy TV, Chad Parham successfully defended His Certificate of Awesomeness by embarrassing “the Japanese Superstar” Yoshi Hiroshima and Iceberg repelled Consequences Creed. This week, the Konkrete Gorillas (Nemesis & Jay Fury) make their debut as a tag team, Agent/Attorney Jeff G Bailey with Phil Shatter will have comments regarding the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Title picture, the Devil’s Rejects face off with the Wild Bunch (Billy Buck & Chris King), and the Hollywood Brunettes & Jeff Lewis take on the New Wave & Truitt Fields.

- The action begins with the “Master of Instigating Disasters” Greg Hunter interviewing an incensed Jeremy “Hardcore Hell Wasn’t Exactly My Best Night” Vain with Mr. Rob Adonis. Vain is becoming increasingly frustrated that he fell from the top of the earth after capturing his fourth NWA Anarchy TV Title. Worse, everything has fallen apart since Vain hired Mr. Adonis as a bodyguard. First, he loses the TV Title. Then Mr. Adonis couldn’t watch Vain’s back during his feud with Jerry Palmer, a man who is not even a wrestler! So guess what, Vain is going to make Mr. Adonis prove himself against… Mikal Judas. I certainly don’t think Mr. Adonis will be proving himself tonight unless some shenanigans are involved.

1. Mikal Judas defeated Mr. Rob Adonis w/Jeremy Vain via DQ.
Judas kicks off the festivities by demonstrating his aerial prowess until Mr. Adonis ducks a flying knee in the corner. Since Mr. Adonis can break watermelons and small bricks with his hands, he certainly has a decisive strength advantage. So, Mr. Adonis demonstrates his physical prowess by delivering an exploder suplex. It doesn’t matter how powerful Mr. Adonis is because he still falls victim to the chokeslam, a Yakuza kick and an Assisted Suicide. Judas bounces off the ropes, but Vain grabs his knee. Judas brings Vain in the hard way. As he prepares to chokeslam Vain, Mr. Adonis delivers a suplex using shear brute strength. Vain shoves the referee to prompt an immediate disqualification. Vain makes the cover for the postmatch pinfall attempt, but Judas kicks out when Mr. Adonis reaches two. With Vain further humiliated and Mr. Adonis staring death in the face, they retreat to fight another day.
COMMENTS: This was a decent match that gives both sides a side feud until their next major confrontations.

- As an attorney, Jeff G Bailey has seen awful things in his lifetime. He’s seen pictures of mutilated children, a man with no legs dying crawling down Peach Tree street trying to get something to eat, laughed while a man died suffering a heart attack (Jeff G must have been watching the country club scene in Falling Down) and at Hardcore Hell where Iceberg stole the Universal Soldier’s Title. That’s a crime? Bailey’s mad because Iceberg was a animalistic beast that introduced an implement. And so, nobody has a chance to beat Shatter cleanly. Bailey’s incensed that Iceberg forced Shatter to receive 19 stitches after leaving an arterial spray pouring copious amount of gushing across the ring. Yep, Dan Wilson is gloating and is carrying Shatter’s Property™. In two weeks, Shatter will be cleared to wrestle and be back to receive his rematch with Iceberg. All the inconsequential bottom dweller fans are going to choke when they chant “Iceberg.” Well, this prompts an “Iceberg” chant from the fans. As they head back to the locker room, Bailey soils himself as the Devil’s Rejects music plays. And when their music plays, you can be sure Dan Wilson, the Staff of Righteousness and Iceberg are sure to appear. And appear they did until security split them up.

2. The Brokeback Bunch (“Brokeback” Bill Buck & Chris King) defeated the Devil’s Rejects (Shaun Tempers & Azreal) w/Dan Wilson & the Staff of Righteousness via DQ, so the Rejects retain the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles.
Don’t forget to purchase the Hardcore Hell at www.nwaanarchy.net! This match resulted when the Wild Bunch defeated the New Wave, Talent & Money and the Hollywood Brunettes in a ladder match at Hardcore Hell to become #1 contenders to the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Titles. The WB Network befuddles the tag champions early on. King tries to fight out of the Reject’s corner, but Buck allows an illegal double team by arguing with the referee. The Rejects get heat on King, who is in the match of a lifetime. Buck rallies the crowd and King responds by eluding a charging Azreal in the corner. King leaps for the hot tag, but Azreal cuts him off at the Pass. After commercial, King executes a Russian legsweep to buy himself time. King receives the hot tag and he cleans house. The Rejects spill to the floor as King awaits them in the ring. Buck refuses a countout victory and wipes out everyone with a high cross body. Both teams brawl on the floor as the referee exercises his count. King makes it back it into the ring and so the Rejects are counted out. The Wild Bunch retreats when the Rejects & the Staff of Righteousness unleashes their wrath.
COMMENTS: The idea that the Wild Bunch tricked the Devil’s Rejects didn’t make sense. Why would any babyface challenger accept a countout victory in what could be the only potential shot for months? It defeats Johnson’s commentary regarding the Wild Bunch possibly not receiving another title shot for a year. Also, given the Reject’s experience, they should be happy to lose via countout because they retain the tag titles.

- The Konkrete Gorillas have something to say to all the crackers in Cornelia, Georgia: double middle fingers. Nemesis pregnant doges and complains like a pregnant dog. He wonders aloud if Slim J remembers Jay Fury. He commands all crackers in attendance to stand before tossing a KG shirt to Fury. With all the crackers in the back holding him back and pissing him off, he brought another gorilla from the jungle. Since Slim J started the gorilla warfare, he won’t stop until his blood is pouring in the ring.

3. The Konkrete Gorillas (Nemesis & Jay Fury) destroyed John “D-Ray 3000 Look Alike” Davis & TK “I’m Glutton for Punishment” Kross.
You mean TK is back for more brutality and punishment? The Gorillas milk the crowd to chant for Shadow as they beat the living bedazzlement out of these two hapless jobbers. Fury makes the cover after a stiff enziguri on Davis. Afterwards, the Gorillas prepare retribution by attacking Davis and hang the cracker. Luckily, Shadow Jackson & Slim J head in and embarrass the Gorillas. The Gorillas further humiliate the jobbers until the Great Big Tall White Security Guy prevents them from inflicting any further pain. Nemesis figures out it’s better to retreat and to fight another day.
COMMENTS: This was a good segment that added more fuel to a piping white hot feud. TK Kross? He’s paying his due pretty quickly by taking thrashings from Shatter and the Gorillas.

4. The New Wave (Derek Driver & Steven Walters) & Truitt Fields vs. Hollywood Brunettes (Andrew “the Wizard of Aaaaaaaahs” Alexander & “Too Hot for TV” Kyle Matthews) & “the Feature Presentation” Jeff Lewis.
Johnson compares the Hollywood Brunettes and Feature Presentation coming together is like Francis Copula, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas coming together for one big movie project. Hunter suggests that it is more like a bad Roger Corman movie. I say you have an awesome box office bust when you put uber movie directors together. Early on, Lewis plays the chicken nuts heel by avoiding Fields at all costs. Fields proves why Lewis doesn’t want in with a gorilla press drop on Matthews. Fields hiptosses Alexander into a Walters’ backbreaker. Walters forces to Wizard to yell Aaaaaaaahs with a press slam. The New Wave uses unorthodox double team tactics to maintain the advantage. Meanwhile, Johnson suffers from Alzheimer’s by claiming he never called Lewis “Straight to DVD” or “B-Flick.” Walters knees Matthews. The rudo contingent gains the advantage with Alexander distracting Driver, Matthews distracting the referee and Lewis executing a top rope throat snap. Lewis finally enters the ring after the Brunettes help gain the advantage. Fields enters the ring, but it only serves an opportunity for Lewis to attack Driver’s back. After commercial, Walters rallies the crowd, but Matthews counters with a dropkick on Walters. They trade sleepers until Alexander counters with a back suplex. Walters buys himself desperation time with a running crucifix. Lewis receives the tag and nearly defecates himself when Fields receives the tag. Fields goes buck wild on the Feature Presentation and the Brunettes. He tosses the Brunettes around like Paper Mache. The New Wave send the heels to the floor. Driver pulls the top rope down and Walter wipes the heels out. Walters sets himself up in position and nails all four with a quebrada. This leaves the two legal men, Fields and Lewis, alone in the ring. Fields executes the Killing Fields, but the referee is out position on the floor. The referee finally makes the count, but Lewis kicks out at 2. Lewis lands a back elbow, rolls up Fields and grabs a handful of tights for the victory.
COMMENTS: This finish made perfect sense and goes back to Booking 101 where the challenger pins the champion in a non-title situation. The New Wave has improved, but I’d love to see the Brunettes receive a run as tag champions. They are underrated heels.

OVERALL: This was another solid edition NWA Anarchy wrestling with a focus on building angles. The booking seemed conservative except for the tag title match. With several months until the next major show, Anarchy can slowly focus on building storylines until then.

NWA SHOWCASE PHILLIPS ARENA 6-7-08

Courtesy of Larry Goodman's report on
www.georgiawrestlinghistory.com

The NWA’s “60 Years of Excellence” in Atlanta at
Philips Arena came as a pleasant surprise on many
levels.

The response from the fans was one of the best things
about the show. They were extremely respectful of all
the legends and showed surprisingly long memories. It
felt like they were entertained by every match. Guys
that have been off television for a while, like Sid
Vicious and Sean Waltman, got surprisingly strong
reactions.

The NWA has talent. The quality of the wrestling from
the current generation performers was good to
excellent across the board, and the fans enjoyed the
nostalgia acts for what they were.

On Friday, Dave Meltzer reported tickets sales at 491
with 2400 free tickets out for the show. Apparently,
most of those freebies got used because the crowd was
2500-3000 in a building set up for 6000.

As inconceivable as it seems, there was no induction
ceremony for Ric Flair. My understanding from NWA
Executive Director Bob Trobich is they somehow forgot.
The NWA must have some mighty powerful stuff going on
in the old unconscious in the aftermath of WWE pulling
Flair from the show.

The show opened with a video message from Adam Pearce,
the NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Pearce said he had
obligations to fulfill in Philadelphia (for ROH). He
invited the fans to take a trip down memory lane, as
the NWA’s thank you to Atlanta.

(1) Mike DiBiase beat Idol Stevens to retain the NWA
North American Title in 5:45. The crowd responded to
the DiBiase name. Both men looked in great shape.
Stevens took over after a gutbuster and a rabbit
lariat. When Stevens missed coming off the top,
DiBiase mounted a fiery comeback. DiBiase went up top.
Stevens got his foot up on his splash attempt, but
DiBiase caught Stevens with an inside cradle for pin.

(2) Iceberg (with the Reverend) beat Shatter (with
Jeff G. Bailey) and Mikal Judas in a three-way to
retain the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Title in 10:36. For
a match that lacked name recognition factor, it got a
very good response. The crowd got into three big,
powerful men working stiff and hitting big moves. It
was mostly three-way action rather than the usual deal
where one guy gets taken out and the other two go at
it. Shatter got the “Whoo!” chant by using the figure
four. They did a massive three-way collision. Shatter
and Judas teamed up for a double superplex on Iceberg.
Finish saw Judas chokeslam Iceberg and try for El
Crucifijo on Shatter. No go, as Shatter then
catapulted Judas into a lariat on Iceberg. Shatter hit
the PTSD (powerbomb) on Judas, and Iceberg pounced on
Shatter with the Ground Zero splash for the pin.

Ricky O introduced Jim Cornette as the MC for the Hall
of Fame inductions. Cornette said he had spent many
long, bloody nights in the Omni in Atlanta under the
auspices of the NWA getting his butt kicked by Dusty
Rhodes and Barry Windham, but never the Road Warriors,
except at Starrcade ‘86. “They didn’t kick my butt.
They threw me off a 25 foot scaffold.” Cornette gave
the fans a sneak peak of the 2009 Hall of Fame class
by bringing out the first inductee, Paul Orndorff. The
crowd was totally appreciative, as they were for every
legend that followed. Orndorff talked about training
under Eddie Graham being pure hell, and beyond
anything he endured for football. Orndorff said the
NWA would rise again, but they couldn’t do it without
the fans. The first inductee was Nikita Koloff. He
said one of his memories of Starrcade ‘86 was watching
Cornette get thrown off that scaffold, but also
getting in the ring with Ric Flair that night. Koloff
mentioned Rhodes, Sting and Lex Luger, and said the
NWA was his heart and soul in wrestling. Iron Sheik
came out as the second inductee. Sheik said Georgia
was his home and his heart. He thanked Ted Turner for
bringing him to Georgia and blessed Gordon Solie.
During his intro for Corsica Joe, mentioned that the
Corsican Brothers were the world champions when the
NWA was first formed in 1948. Cornette said none of
them would be there if not for legends like Joe. The
crowd popped when Cornette said Joe was 88 years old.
Cornette made the case for the Midnight Express being
the greatest tag team of the 80s. Not a difficult case
to make. Cornette said the Midnights “synonimized”
what the NWA was all about. Cornette said no team gave
the fans everything they wanted from a professional
wrestling match like the Midnights. Condrey said he
always loved the fans even if he didn’t show it.
Cornette asked the crowd if they wanted Bobby to talk
one time. “Thank you, Jim. Thank you, Dennis. Thank
you, everybody. Appreciate it“, said Eaton. That got a
laugh. Condrey thanked his wife, Teresa for putting up
with 19 years of his crap. Rich said Atlanta adopted
him and here he was 31 years later. Rich said he was
fortunate to catch the end of the time when rasslin’
was rasslin’. Rich thanked the wrestlers from previous
generations that made his career possible. Abdullah
came down the aisle with long time manager, John
Cheatam babbling about his black specimen. Leading to…

(3) Tommy Rich vs. Abdullah the Butcher (with John
Cheatham) was ruled a no contest. They brawled on the
outside and bloodied each other up with the crowd
loving every minute of it. Abdullah pulled out his
fork and Rich’s bleached blonde hair was instant
crimson. Abby stabbed referee D. L. Norris, who bled
copious amounts of plasma. Rich then forked up
Abdullah. At one point, Rich climbed on top of the
ringside table and Abdullah tipped it over. They
battled down the aisle. A second ref got knocked down.
Abdullah used Cheatham’s cane on Rich and high-tailed
it to the back. The crowd popped as Rich finally got
in the ring. Rich told the crowd he didn’t get to
feeling right until his head was busted up.

(4) Sean Waltman & Blue Demon Jr. beat Rob Conway &
Carl Ouellete in 10:08. Waltman came out to the DX
music and the crowd was right there when it came time
for the “suck it.” Ouellete escaped from the Bronco
Buster early. There was a lot of spit flying when guys
took punches in this match. It worked with this crowd.
Ouellete used power moves on Waltman. He got the tag
and it was major heat on Demon. The crowd was
surprisingly strong for Demon’s comeback. The hot tag
led to Waltman nailing the Bronco Buster on Conway.
Demon hit a killer tope on Ouellete for one of the
biggest pops of the night. Waltman pinned Conway with
the X Factor- a great finish that the crowd adored.

(5) Mike Quackenbush beat Ricky Vega with submission
to retain the NWA World Lightweight Title in 8:31.
They made the best of what was somewhat of a style
clash. The crowd didn’t know Quack, but he’s such an
awesome babyface that he got over fine. Vega (formerly
Machete in TNA) overpowered Quack early. Quack popped
the crowd with a flip dive. Vega came right back with
a nice quebradora for a near fall. Vega took over. He
hit a really nice snap powerslam. But he committed the
cardinal sin of taking too much time, and busted his
ass on a guillotine legdrop attempt. Vega cut off
Quack’s comeback with a huge lariat for a close near
fall and got another one with a sitout spinebuster.
Vega tried to bring Quack off the top with a slam ala
Flair. Quack rolled though, hit a top rope huracanrana
and got the tap out with the figure four.

(6) Los Luchas (Phoenix Star & Zokre) beat the
Naturals (Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas) and Real
American Heroes (Joey Ryan & Karl Anderson) in an
elimination match to retain the NWA World Tag Team
Titles in 17:24. My favorite match of the night.
Luchas were over with their flying. A healthy portion
of the crowd seemed to know Naturals from TNA. Luchas
were outnumbered by two heel teams, and they’re very
appealing in the role of the underdog. Douglas
interfered by grabbing Star’s leg. Zokre returned the
favor on Stevens to set up a sweet double quebrada
spot. But Douglas pulled the ropes down on Zokre and
he took punishment from Heroes. Luchas were flying
again with the hot tag when Anderson cut Zokre off
with the classic spinebuster. Douglas hit a double
underhook slam on Anderson and both Luchas piled on to
eliminate Heroes at 8:25. Naturals got heat on Star,
who managed to kick out of a top rope move by Stevens
and make the hot tag. Luchas hit big doubleteams, and
Naturals had to save each other. The Naturals had
Zokre put away with the Natural Disaster, but Heroes
ran down to ringside and Anderson pulled the ref out
at two. As Stevens was distracted by Heroes, he
stumbled over Zokre and both Luchas piled on for the
pin. Naturals teased a break up after the match.
Ricky O said he had ensured that the 6-10 crybaby Sid
Vicious would get some competition. O introduced the
NWA Pro East tag team champions as Sid’s cannon fodder
for the evening.

(7) Sid Vicious destroyed Playas Club (Davey Boy Bling
& Juicy Justin Corino) in 3:54. The reaction to
Vicious was pretty amazing considering how long he’s
been out of the limelight. Fans treated him like the
star of the show. Sid wrestled in a t-shirt and jeans.
Sid was frightfully stiff, which was exactly what the
crowd wanted to see. Vicious slapped Playas club
silly. He gave Bling a variation of a whirlybird and
wasted Juicy with a chokeslam and a cobra clutch slam.
Vicious finished with powerbombs on both Playas. He
took his shirt off, stacked them up, and made a one
foot pin.

There’s more. Vicious gave Playas another set of
powerbombs. A stretcher was wheeled out to ringside to
cart Playas out. Vicious knocked Playas off the
stretcher with lariats. The crowd chanted “Sid! Sid!
Sid!” as Ricky O wheeled Playas to the back.

(8) Rock n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert
Gibson) defeated the Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey
& Bobby Eaton with Jim Cornette) in 13:45. Cornette
said they weren’t being paid enough to continue to be
nice and insulted the crowd. Cornette said the
Midnights weren’t going to lay down for a couple of
punks and there would be zero tolerance for “Rock and
Roll” chants. Morton said it had been a long time
since the two teams met in Atlanta, but it was going
to be the same as it always was – a beating for the
Midnights. In hindsight, this probably was not the
match to put on last. There was no way the action
could match what the fans had just seen. Some folks
left right after Sid. The R & R were a step ahead at
every turn. They did the deal where Midnights
pumphandled Gibson’s arm, until he pulled the
switcheroo and it was Eaton blindly working over
Condrey. Midnights teased problems and Cornette had to
play peacemaker, but as usual, it was all to lull
their opponents into a false sense of security.
Cornette grabbed Gibson’s leg and blasted him with the
tennis racket. After brief heat on Gibson, they went
to the finish: Morton got the sleeper on Condrey.
Cornette tried to interfere, so Morton popped him.
Condrey hit Morton with a chain. Morton kicked out.
The R & R pinned the state-of-shock Midnights with
double roll ups.

Cornette got a pop for saying he and the Midnights
would never come back to Atlanta.

NOTES: Among the notables backstage were Jerry
Jarrett, Pam and Bob Allyn (Gordon Solie’s daughter
and son-in-law), NWA Top Rope promoter Mike Searcy,
and NWA Tennessee Champion, “Boogie Woogie Boy” Gary
Valiant. Valiant gets a shot at Adam Pearce’s NWA
World Title on the June 14 NWA Top Rope show in
Lebanon, Tn…Bob Trobich said the NWA was definitely
interested in returning to Atlanta, although not
necessarily to Philips…They didn’t have a cover for
Cornette’s tennis racket. It just so happened that
Rick Michaels was backstage and had the tennis racket
Cornette autographed for him back in 2001 during his
visit to NWA Wildside in the trunk of his car…Former
NWA Wildside wrestler, White Trash, was at the show.
He’s starting a gig as a co-host in the 12pm-2pm
timeslot on the ESPN radio affiliate in
Nashville…Douglas said the reason Naturals are not
working the same shows in Tennessee of late is because
he’s cut back on his bookings for the time being…Video
and audio clips from the event will be posted at

NWA Upstate Update for June 2nd

News on the June 28th show!

Tag Team Grudge Match
Brodie Lee & Cloudy vs. The McClouds
The feud between these two teams actually started a
few months back when the McClouds were able to score
the upset win over Cloudlee. CloudLee has been on the
losing end of quite a few over the past few months. At
the last show they got themselves involved in a 4
corner tag team match against Dunn & Marcos, Rhythm &
Booze, and The McClouds – who were once again
victorious, scoring another pin over CloudLee. The
team of CloudLee were upset to say the least and
decided to take it out on Sara Del Ray and Portia
Perez later on that night in a disgusting display
destroying these two women, until The McClouds came
out for the save. Now Brodie and Cloudy have demanded
this match against the McClouds to prove their point
that they are done losing here in Upstate and are on
the road to tag team gold.

Speaking of the tag team titles, we've received word
from the Rhythm & Booze camp that they will also be
action on the 28th, "just not defending the titles
against some bums like them McClouds!" Rhythm & Booze
have been avoiding defending the belts against the
McClouds, claiming they haven't proven themselves yet.
We should have word on just who R & B will face in the
next few weeks.

Jimmy Olsen vs. Big Cat Lemmer
Not only did the "The Notorious BCL" cost Jimmy Olsen
the NWA Upstate Championship months back, but at the
last show he once again came to Danny Doring's aid and
made sure Jimmy's attempts to escape the cage and
regain the Title were unsuccessful. Now Jimmy has
challenged Big Cat to face him 1 on 1, June 28th.
Jimmy has never backed down from anyone here in NWA
Upstate, but one has to wonder what kind of condition
Jimmy will be in when he faces the biggest man on the
Upstate roster, just a month after the blood bath in
the steel cage with Danny Doring. BCL has been on a
reign of terror the past few months and this looks to
be a huge test for both men.

Steel Cage Wargames
2CW vs. NWA Upstate
This war will finally explode in this long awaited
showdown between the 2 promotions best. 2CW has
announced their 5 men competing in this match –
Dizzie, Zaquary Springate III, Jason Axe, Isys Ephex
and J.D. Love. The new NWA Upstate No Limits Champion,
Gabe Saint has already been announced as Upstate's
first representative and now we have been informed
Gabe will joined by former Upstate tag champions, Dunn
and Marcos! Keep checking back here at NWAUPNY.COM for
the final 2 members of Team Upstate.

Even before these two teams do battle in the cage
there will be even more 2CW vs. NWAU action. 2CW's
Killer Steves will be in the house on June 28th and
they have issued an open challenge to any of Upstate's
tag teams. Who will step up to the challenge?

NWA Upstate Title Match
Danny Doring vs. Eric Young
Coming fresh of defeating former NWA Upstate Champion,
Jimmy Olsen in a brutal cage match less than a month
ago, The most hated man in Upstate - Danny Doring will
now face his 2nd challenge as Upstate Champion. TNA
Star Eric Young will be returning to Rochester to
challenge for the title that eluded him last time he
was here. Last time Eric was here he picked up a win
over Brodie Lee, who was the champion at the time but
refused to put the belt on the line. Eric proved to
everyone that night he was a contender to the belt and
now he will finally get his shot to prove it was no
fluke.

Also signed to be in the house; Cheech, "The Havana
Pitbull" Ricky Reyes, The Star Foundation, Triple X
and Super Assassin, and many more!

The rest of the June 28 card will be announced in the
next few weeks. This already looks like a can't miss
so be there live when NWA Upstate debuts at the Main

Unforgiven 2 Results:

Bobby Shields won the battle royal to declare the new
#1 Contender To The NWA East 3 Rivers Title. Dash
Bennett was furious at Shields' turning on Stacy
Hunter and eliminating her after Bennett ordered (now)
former employee Shields to eliminate himself and allow
Hunter to win. Bennett, Bulldozer, and Hunter
decimated Shields afterwards warning him not come
after the title.

Ashton Amhurst defeated Samuel Elias in the "Summer
Series Six Challenge" to earn a heavyweight title shot
at the June 6th live event in the NWA East Heavyweight
Title Summer Series Challenge.

Big Lenny defeated Jimi The High Flying Hippie to win
a contract to compete fulltime in the NWA East. NWA
East Championship Committee Spokesperson JC Slick
offered Jimi another chance to win a contract after
two impressive performances at the June 6th event
against someone ranked in the NWA East Top Ten
Rankings.

Patrick Hayes defeated Carlton Kaz in the first match
of "The Summer Series Six Challenge" to gain a
heavyweight title shot at the August 2nd live event in
the NWA East Heavyweight Title Summer Series
Challenge.

Crusher Hansen and Chris Taylor went to a no contest
when Scottie Gash interfered and beat them both down
explaining that he can not make his debut "10 minutes
down the road" because he is being made to uphold his
non-compete clause that is not up until midnight of
the Anniversary Show on September 20th. Gash stated
that he would continue to show up at NWA East events
until then to cause as much chaos as he possibly can
rather than sit out until then. Gash then goaded both
Taylor and Hansen (both enemies of one another) into a
tag-team match in the main event.

Straight Jacket Mafia & Bobby Shields defeated Dash
Bennett, Bulldozer, and Stacy Hunter in a wild six-man
tag-team war as JC Slick placed Bennett and Hunter
into the match and added a revenge seeking Shields to
make it the six-man match. After the match, Slick
informed Bennett that he would not get out of his
impending 3-way dance for the 3 Rivers Title by faking
another injury as it would Bennett vs. Apollyon vs.
Dahmer on June 6th.

James Ross defeated Sami Callihan in the second match
of "The Summer Series Six Challenge" to gain a
heavyweight title shot at the August 23rd live event
in the NWA East Heavyweight Title Summer Series
Challenge. After the match, Krystal Frost and Ashton
Amhurst came to ringside and met with Callihan and
then Frost announced that Callihan would now have the
title match for the heavyweight title on June 6th as
Callihan was working with them now and they have a
plan to take out SJK.

In the Main Event Scottie Gash and his surprise
partner Kato defeated Crusher Hansen and Chris Taylor.
Taylor and Hansen came to blows after the match ending
any short term alliance as Kato and Gash created the
chaos they wanted as other members of the NWA East
locker room came down and started fighting with one
another.

NWA East/ Mr. Chainsaw Productions Wrestling
News and Notes for June 4, 2008

--The latest episode of Chainsaw TV has been posted
at: http://youtube.com/watch?v=iggqZ_CSlzY. Featuring
the Christin Able / Shane Hollister “NOT ENOUGH” Video
that is getting rave reviews online, as well as the
fallout of the MCPW No Limits Championship Match at
Battle Ground 2008, and words from Shane Hollister,
Steve Amani, and MCPW No Limits Champion: Caden Ames!

--MCPW Make or Break is just a few weeks away, in
addition to many young wrestlers competing for a
possible MCPW Roster spot, two big matches have been
announced. It will be Caden Ames taking on Steve Amani
one on one, they will do battle in November in a
Ladder Match, and this will be their last chance to
get their hands on one another before the big
encounter.

--In the second announced match, it will be #1
Contender, Christin Able taking on Make or Break
participant Adam Bueller. Able defiantly has momentum
on his side after coming off a hot feud with Shane
Hollister and holding the #1 Contendership under his
belt, but can Adam Bueller come out on top for his
spot on the MCPW Roster?

--Also, James Dillinger has words for the MCPW fans in
Kalkaska. Will the former “747” explain what has
happened to him, and why?

--All that plus the newly formed tag team of Bryan
Skyline and Louis Lynden will be in action, as well as
Kalkaska’s Own: “The HxC Warrior” Mikey Zeroe will be
in the house, and who can forget the young wrestlers
looking for their big break and spot on the MCPW
Roster!

--The strange news headline on the main page is still
trying to be figured out, MCPW Web Staff is not
deleting it just yet, rather trying to trace to see
when and why this was posted. It will be gone from the
site shortly. Sorry for any inconvenience it may be
causing to website viewers.

--On August 9th, MCPW will debut in Roscommon,
Michigan at the CRAF Center!!! For more info keep
checking www.MCPWrestling.com. Wrestlers scheduled to
appear as well as matches will be announced soon!
Also, MCPW will make it’s long awaited debut in
Traverse City, Michigan in November for MCPW

RING OF FIRE 2
Jacob Woll Pavilion
McKeesport, PA

As Benjamin C. Steele made his customary pre-show
announcements, a myriad of NWA East wrestler emerged
from various parts of the Jacob Woll Pavilion: the
Straight Jacket Mafia, Iron Justice, Mantis, Samuel
Elias, James Ross, and Chris LeRusso. They questioned
Steele as to why they all received notes in their bags
to meet in the ring before the show. Their questions
were answered and even more were formed as Scottie
Gash walked in the front door. "The Spotlight"
informed them that, including Chris Taylor (who was
not in the building that night) that there is a
traitor in their midst. One of the 9 men are on their
way out on September 20th with Gash, and one by one,
he will reveal who made the "wrong decision" to join
him 10 minutes up the road.

Bobby Shields pinned Bulldozer with a lionsault after
Stacy Hunter accidentally hit Bulldozer with a sign.
The interference of Hunter & NWA East Three Rivers
Champion Dash Bennett backfired, as their goal to take
out Shields before he challenges Dash is still
unfulfilled.

"Division 1" James Ross defeated Ashton Amhurst, but
his celebration didn't last long. His opponent at
Unforgiven 2, Sami Callihan, hit the ring and attacked
Ross with a baseball bat. Amhurst and Callihan beat
down Ross and called out Callihan's opponent and
Amhurst's trainer, Sterling James Keenan. SJK hit the
ring only to get taken out by Krystal Frost's duo.
They beat down his ribs with the baseball bat until
the damage was done.

NWA National Champion Crusher Hansen came to the ring
to offer a challenge to "Mr. Wrestling 3" Steve Corino
for July 5th's Summer Assault 2. As he did, Chris
LeRusso & Morgan came to the ring, demanding a title
shot. Hansen said he already beat him, but he had a
surprise for him instead. LeRusso & Morgan's trainer
Kato attacked the duo from behind as Hansen laid out
the challenge for a tag match later in the night, if
LeRusso could find a partner.

"The Legacy" Samuel Elias pinned Big Lenny with a
roll-up. The weird Big Lenny was accompanied to the
ring by the equally weird Demonica. Lenny kept trying
to play tricks on Elias, but they didn't work as the
FNW Wrestling School trainee picked up the win. But
during intermission, while Elias was mingling at
ringside with some fans, Lenny appeared and attacked
Elias. The two men had to be pulled apart, as this is
obviously not over.

"The Spotlight" Scottie Gash def. "Simply the Best"
Carlton Kaz in the "Scottie Gash Showcase Match". Gash
picked up the win against a man who wrestled for his
future employers 10 minutes up the road with the
Spotlight Drop. Several times throughout the match,
Gash pointed to the camera, informing his future
employer that the next move was for them.

Dash Bennett retained the NWA East Three Rivers Title
against Apollyon. Bennett once again refused to defend
his title against both Dahmer & Apollyon, and was
somehow able to finagle himself a singles match
against Apollyon instead, with Dahmer having to wait
two more weeks for his title match.

NWA East Tag Team Champions Iron Justice defeated The
Wrong Crowd to retain their titles, and earn a shot at
the NWA North American Tag Team Titles on July 5th.
The more experienced Atlas & BA attempted to keep Iron
& Justice grounded, but the speed of the youngsters
was too much. When Len from Killer Wolf Productions
went for a superkick on Justice, he ducked and Atlas
ate the superkick and the pin instead. It seems the
Wrong Crowds' friends are becoming more of a ringside
nuisance than help.

The Crusher Hansen & Kato vs. Chris LeRusso tag team
match went to a no-contest. As LeRusso was left
without a partner, the only other man in the building
who didn't see action that night stood by his side:
"Syko" Sean Dahmer. But as the referee got tossed
aside and all four men broke down brawling around the
building, referee Bill Wright appeared and threw the
match out.

NWA East Heavyweight Champion Sterling James Keenan
made Sami Callihan tap out with a Regal Stretch. But
after the match, Callihan & Amhurst once again tried
to take out SJK with their baseball bat on behalf of
Krystal Frost. But Chris LeRusso appeared, running off
the duo. SJK and LeRusso shared a moment of respect
before Scottie Gash hit the ring, taking out LeRusso
and Morgan. With LeRusso being the first off of
Scottie Gash's list of possible traitors to NWA East,
what does that mean for the remaining 8?
