A quiet crowd of 60 made it out to the Gerdon Youth Center for another night of OVW action.

As I made way into the building I ran into OVW stars on the rise Dewey and Raul Loco. Raul claimed they had been barred from action by the OVW Commissioner. I believe they just wanted a night off to eat nachos and work the door. But, hey what do I know?

Elijah Burke opened the night with a pinfall victory over Fearless Jack Bull. This was the usual Burke match, the heel gets much offense in on him and Burke makes his comeback and hits the Experience for the win. Bull did not serenade the crowd or have anything in his eye on this night.

Jacob Duncan defeated Cody Runnels with his head-crusher powerbomb. I'm going to be honest, this match wasn't pretty and not in a squash booking type way. These guys both tried but it was just one of those nights where nothing seemed to click for some reason. I wont hold it against these guys as you cant have 5 star mat classics every night out. Cody got a nice reaction as fans are starting to familiarize themselves with him.

Shawn Spears defeated Armando Alejandro Estrada by pinfall. Estrada offered Spears his box of cigars to just forfeit the match and go on home as Estrada claimed he had better things to do on a Friday night. Spears took the box and handed out cigars to the over 18 members of the crowd. Estrada charged after Spears and received several chops for his efforts. Spears tries for a spear in the corner but Estrada moves and Spears hit the post with his left shoulder. Estrada focused his offense on the left shoulder for the rest of the match. Spears found an opening though and hits a drop kick to gain the victory over Estrada.

KC James & Roadkill defeated Shad Gaspard and Just 2 Good in a non title match. KC was worked over by the heels most of the match. J2G was doing most of the in ring work for his team as Gaspard stood on the apron and jawed with fans at ringside. KC finally got a hot tag to Roadkill who hit a Death Valley Driver on J2 G for the win. Post match KC said that he and Roadkill were the rightful title holders and challenged Shad and J2G to a match next time they were in Corydon. Commissioner Kenobi then got on the mic and stated that next month the two teams would square off in a championship bout.

We then had intermission to meet Molly Holly. Molly didnt set up
shop long and also for some reason came out sporting a blonde wig after entering the building without it. She seemed very rushed for the brief amount of time she spent with fans.

Boris came out after Intermission and said that Danny Davis had told him he shouldn't appear on any OVW shows as he was hurting too many wrestlers. Boris said he wanted someone to come out and face him right now as he didn't care what Danny Davis thought. Discord came out to answer the challenge. Discord was tapping out about 50 seconds later. Boris stated that he wasn't warmed up yet and he wanted a new stronger opponent, cue Pat Buck. Buck lasted a bit longer but succumbed to the standing arm bar in about 2 minutes.

Serena & Daisy Mae defeated Sousay & ODB with Shelly as the guest referee. ODB refused to face Serena in the ring tagging out to let Sousay start the match. Serena was pressing her advantage on Sousay and tagged in Daisy to join in on the fun. Sousay was able to get the ref distracted long enough for ODB to sneak in and take down Daisy. The heels kept Daisy reeling until she was at long last able to hot tag Serena. Serena tore into ODB with a series of clotheslines. ODB tried to comeback and set Serena up for a superplex, Serena however dropped down and tried to sunset flip ODB for the pin. ODB held the ropes and like the night before wouldn't acknowledge the 5 count to let go so Shelly kicked her arms off of the ropes. ODB then argued with Shelly allowing Serena to set up behind her for the spear. As ODB turned around it was spear-pin-bell. Post match Commissioner Kenobi made a match next time in Corydon of ODB & Sousay against Shelly & a partner of her choosing.

Our main event was supposed to be The Untouchables & Idol against Chett The Jett, Mikey Batts & Ryan Reeves. Reeves came out in his cast and said that since The Untouchables had taken him out he couldnt wrestle, instead the heel were about to be "Punked". AFI hits the PA and CM Punk comes out to join the faces. Idol gets on the mic and says that if Punk is joining the match then he wants the stipulation added that if any of the heels get a pinfall over any of the faces then that person will have a title shot at the next Corydon show. Punk agrees so long as if the faces win they get Cherry for a week. We then had our standard 5-10 minutes of Untouchables stalling before our match got underway. Idol ended up pinning Punk having rolled him and holding onto the tights. Idol will face Punk for the OVW Heavyweight Title next month in Corydon
