Katona's husband starts cleaning cars

Kerry Katona's husband Mark Croft has reportedly set up a car valeting business in their home town.

The former cab driver has started cleaning cars in Wilmslow, Cheshire in a bid to solve their current financial problems, according to the News of the World.

Croft has purchased a fleet of expensive vehicles since marrying Katona, but the reality TV star is now said to be struggling after being declared bankrupt in the summer.

"[Mark has] always been accused of sponging off Kerry, but now he's going to be doing a different kind of sponging," a source told the newspaper. "This is a real come-down for him. He likes to play the big man driving round in his fancy cars. But now he's having to get his hands dirty.

"He thinks the car valeting business could be a little gold mine. There are a lot of wealthy people in and around Wilmslow all with posh cars. He'll be charging £30 a time to valet them. He decided that doing this is better than going back to being a cabbie."

Earlier this month, reports claimed that Katona had been visited by two repo men after defaulting on the payments for her £70,000 Porsche Cabriolet.
