AC MILAN have offered LA Galaxy a fee to keep loan-star David Beckham permanently.

The 33-year-old midfielder is currently on a two-month stint at the San Siro in an effort to play competitive football during the Major League Soccer close season.

But Milan chief Adriano Galliani wants to sign the England star on a long-term deal, provided Galaxy agree to sell.

He said: “If Beckham comes to an agreement with Galaxy, we are ready to pay a figure.

"In the coming days we will meet his advisors.

“If Los Angeles Galaxy decide not to sell him, they won’t sell him.”
