Want-away striker Mario Balotelli refused Jose Mourinho's call to the squad and marched off home instead.
Mario Balotelli was left out of the Inter Milan squad to face Catania by Jose Mourinho, but it was the player who asked to be snubbed according to reports.

Sportmediaset.it claims that the coach was ready to pick Balotelli for tonight's game against the Etnei. However, Balotelli packed his bags and stormed off from training, leaving Mourinho no choice but to leave him out once again.

The Italian under-21 international has made no secret of his displeasure at the Milanese club. He was left on the bench against Sampdoria on Sunday. Inter claim the striker was left out for technical reasons, but there could be another reason behind it.

‘The Special One' is well known for his discipline and hard line against rebel players, and Balotelli is likely to be sent directly to Mourinho's boot camp – but only if he doesn't leave first.

Reports suggest the player is doing all he can to annoy the club so that they will kick him out, however, Inter have denied that Balotelli is on the market, and they claim he will not be leaving.

Any more such antics could signal the end of his days in Milan, and there are plenty of clubs who will fancy taking him on.
