May 4th: We have some unfortunate injury news concerning this weekend's events in Boston and Edison. Jon Davis of the Dark City Fight Club has suffered a far worse wrist dislocation than originally thought, and he will be undergoing surgery this week to correct the problem. As a result, the Dark City Fight Club will not be appearing in Boston or Edison as scheduled. Recovery time for Davis is unknown at this point and everyone at Ring of Honor wishes him a fast and safe recovery.

May 4th: The Super Smash Brothers will now take the spots left20open due to Davis' injury. They will face Rhett Titus and Kenny King on Friday in Boston, and on Saturday in Edison they'll face Brent Albright and Erick Stevens.

May 4th: We also regret to inform that Tyler Black is also injured and will not be appearing as scheduled in Boston or Edison. Black aggravated a pre-existing neck injury during the epic 45-minute Tag Title match against the American Wolves in Markham. Unfortunately the injury hasn't responded to treatment as well as in the past, and further treatment is necessary that will keep Black out of action. He is not expected to miss the next ROH on HDNet National Television tapings on May 29th and 30th in Philadelphia. We apologize for any inconvenience these unfortunate injuries may cause.

May 4th: The tag team title match scheduled for this Saturday will still happen. Tyler Black told ROH officials that he has a partner in mind for Bryan Danielson, but we are awaiting confirmation from this competitor before making it 100% official. We hope to have the announcement tomorrow right here in the ROH News Wire.

May 4th: When opportunity knocks, apparently Chris Hero answers. "That Young Knockout Kid" was on the phone with the ROH Booking Committee as soon as he heard that Tyler Black was on the shelf for this weekend. "I beat Jerry Lynn in Boston last time," exclaimed Hero. "It's only natural that I do it again, in front of the same fans, and become ROH World Champion!" Hero was not scheduled for this weekend's events, but Jerry Lynn did not appreciate what he heard. "Hero used his loaded elbow last time, and everyone knows it. I got some revenge at Final Battle, but I'd love nothing more than to beat him in a singles. And especially in Boston where they saw him screw me last time." ROH officials quickly agreed and made the match. It will be Lynn versus Hero on Friday in Boston.

May 5th: ROH officials spoke earlier today to both Tyler Black and the man he has selected to take his place in the World Tag Team Title match in Edison. Black once again expressed his apologies for not being able to perform for the fans in Edison, and especially to Bryan Danielson, as he firmly believes that he and Dragon can beat the American Wolves. Black went on to tell ROH officials that he hopes to be ready for action by May 29th in Philly, and that the man he chose to replace him this Saturday has accepted the offer. That man is no stranger to teaming with Danielson – in fact, he just gained a victory in Montreal with Dragon as a partner - and that man wants the Wolves blood on his hands in the worst way. That man is Kevin Steen. It will be Danielson and Steen versus the Wolves in Edison with the World Tag team titles on the line this Saturday night. Tickets are now on sale at www.rohwrestling.com.

May 5th: With the ROH Booking Committee granting Steen his petition to be a part of the World Tag Title match on Saturday, the card has been shuffled. Sonjay Dutt will now oppose “That Young Knockout Kid” Chris Hero in singles action. Should Hero defeat Jerry Lynn in Boston he will defend the ROH World Title against Dutt.

The question is; what more could there be in store?
