The issues are associated with status codes 80004004, 807B01F4, and 8015000a
At the start of July 2009, Microsoft acknowledged the fact that customers were experiencing intermittent errors on Windows LIVE Marketplace. The Redmond company indicated that it was actively working to resolve the issues. However, at this point in time members of the Xbox LIVE community have not received information on the source of the error messages they are coming across. Customer reports delivered as feedback to the Xbox Live Operations team reveal that the issues are not new in any manner, with some
users pointing out that they first started experiencing sporadic errors on Xbox LIVE Marketplace after Microsoft introduced an update to the service in mid-June.

“We’re aware of intermittent errors in Marketplace that are affecting Xbox Live, Xbox.com, and Games for Windows. You may run into one of a few different status codes including 80004004, 807B01F4, and 8015000a. It may also show that you haven’t purchased content that you have – don’t worry, we haven’t lost your purchase even though it may appear so,” revealed a member of the Xbox Live Operations team. “This can occur whether you’re searching Marketplace from the Dashboard or from within a game.”

Microsoft explained that a team was investigating the problems and working to provide a resolve for customers. In addition, the Redmond company also provided information on status code 80153065 for users attempting to access Marketplace. In this regard, the software giant already identified the source of the issue and has a mitigation available.

“When you try to download content from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, you receive the following error message: 'Can’t retrieve information from Xbox LIVE. Please try again later. Status code: 80153065' This problem may occur if you use an Xbox LIVE Child Account, and if your account region is set to New Zealand. If the regional requirements are set to New Zealand, Xbox LIVE does not allow Child Accounts to download content. This is true regardless of the settings for content rating or for parental control.”

In order to fix this issue all that Xbox LIVE Marketplace customers have to do is promote their accounts to an Adult Account level via Xbox LIVE Account Management.
