Announcement Regarding Main Event
At Saturday’s Event In Long Branch, NJ

On Friday afternoon, while performing a private show at a Day Camp in Central New Jersey, National Wrestling Superstars management received an urgent phone call that Gene Snitsky, the co-headliner in Saturday, August 1st’s event at the Italian American Memorial Association (I.A.M.A.) Showgrounds at 195 West End Avenue in Long Branch, had been involved in an accident the night prior. According to reports received by email from Snitsky’s family, they didn’t get home from the Emergency Room until after 4am with 7 stitches in his eye, a sprained ankle, swollen face and bruised knees and elbow. Doctors have told him that he is not allowed to wrestle in this condition. According to the email, Gene feels awful about this because he has never backed out of a commitment.

National Wrestling Superstars management quickly went to work to find a suitable replacement for the already announced steel cage match which is to headline this spectacular event. After many phone calls and hours of negotiations, they are happy to announce that tomorrow’s main event will now become a battle of the ECW stars as Balls Mahoney, Snitsky’s original opponent will take on former ECW star and sometimes tag team partner Axl Rotten in what will truly be a match for the fans of the original ECW wrestling.

NWS, always eager to keep the fans happy have also announced that they will be bringing in former Headshrinker Samu to join the already packed line-up that includes a WSU event pitting former champion Angel Orsini against Brooke Carter, a 3 way match for the NWS cruiserweight belt with champion Mikey Pacifica taking on Manual “Manny” More and Rich Swan plus the Nigerian Nightmares, Evil TNT, The Equalizer and lots more.

Tickets priced at $20 ringside and $18 open seating are still on sale by calling 732-888-1704. Remaining tickets (if any) will go on sale at 7:05pm tomorrow night at the I.A.M.A., which is located just a mile or so from Route 36 and close to the Garden State Parkway.
