nice to see we have a great interest from the people in this.
Everyone's favorite old person is back... or is he?
I know, 7 people in less than a day. Maybe if we get enough I may be able to push the draft day up if thats ok with everyone.Originally Posted by Donnie Darko

Alright dude, I have done competitive Fantasy Football leagues in the past with $ and everything, the scoring on this sucks, straight forward to you. I suggest you make 3 WR's and go with the original scoring system, its easier to draft that way, and saves the decimal shit, and like keeping track of pointless Fantasy Football stats like completions and missed field goals. Take this in consideration and get back to me. Thanks!

This scoring is the same scoring system I used in my own private money league last year and worked out great. Yahoo's scoring system sucks, plain and simple. They don't put enough emphasis on the QB, K, or Def and too much on RB. I know RB is supposed to be the focal point but when a player like Michael Pittman can outscore all but the top 3 QB's in fantasy football, thats sad. Yes, decimals can be difficult, but when they are only quarters its not THAT bad. And why not give extra points for a completion and take away some for a missed field goal? I'm pretty sure its good that a QB can throw a pass, but can he also complete it? And last time I checked a missed field goal counts against a real kicker in his average.Originally Posted by F4L
As far as the 3 WR's, I like the idea of keeping rosters like they are. The idea of being able to use a RB instead of a WR on any given week is better than the pressing need of knowing you have to use 3 WR and 2 RB every week. Also, what if you have a #3 RB who easily outscores your #3 WR but isn't good enough to jump into your #1 or #2 RB spot? Basically wasting points sitting on your bench if he can't play while some average joe stinks up that #3 WR spot.
So yea, the things you mentioned aren't getting changed. I feel this system works out the best (as I have tried to make about the most even playing field possible the past 4 years) and will stay this same way.
anyone else? if we could get 10 that would be AWESOME! sitting at 9 for right now.
