And there it is. The first shot across the bow. The first salvo of sweet – yet brief! – holiday sales offers. The first indication that, yes, the day after Thanksgiving is going to be Hell for retailers once more. Behold: The video game-related Black Friday sales selections of Kmart and Sears, which we've posted after the jump. Please avoid trampling one another as you make your way down there.

Here's a few big ticket items: Kmart's offering a free copy of Halo 3: ODST with the purchase of every Xbox 360 Elite, and both stores are cutting prices on a ton of big-ticket games (L4D2, Dragon Age, Brutal Legend) by $20. November 27 is going to be a long, long day, friends.

I would never ever EVER go out on Black Friday. Worst shopping day of the year. Might have the best deals but getting a great deal is not worth the chances of getting shot or in a fight over the last of a game or system.

I don't know how. You live in the US right. From what I hear they are always something crazy going on everywhere in the US on Black Friday. Great Deals and someone's about to get the last one...and they are about 8 people who want it. That is asking for trouble.

I didn't have to wait until Black Friday to get a great deal. Rock Band 2 use to be what around $159.00 or so....I got it for 88 bucks at Target brand new. They ran it on sale a few weeks back...Great deal if you ask me...so haha...Then my laptop I got saved like 150 bucks on it. Its like a $589.00 laptop and I got it at about...450.00. If my math is right that is 139.00 savings.

So see people don't wait until Black Friday to say oh I can get a great deal then. No no no. Great deals pop up all year long there just not talked about as much so they can get you in there on Black Friday. The deals might be better then but why take the chance to wait until Black Friday and not get it..Like with World Tour. Right now you can get it at Walmart for $99.00(that's if u don't got any of the band stuff). The deal down there is just for the Guitar..right for what 49.99 so say 50 bucks...the kit usely is $69.82. So that is a 19.83 savings.

Where the whole kit us usely $199.00 and its now 99.00. Now anyone good with math can already see that is a 100 buck savings. This before Black Friday. Now this is the X-Box 360 price....PS3 has it on sale for same price but its price without a sale is $169.00 now if its 99.00 that is a 70 bucks you save...If you want it on PS2 now its reg price is what the sale price is for the PS3 and 360 is..but right now its $69.92. So you got your self a 29.08 savings there.

Now if you just want the Guitar Kit...PS3...Wii and 360 all got that for $59.82 right now...Where if you wait until Black Friday you save a little bit more money. 9.83 savings to be exact. Now is it worth waiting a few weeks to save that much money when you might not get it cause alot of people could be out trying to get it also...To me its not really worth trying to get out in that traffic and the stuff like that. Spend a few bucks more and be safe...just my opinion

^^Well I live in Puerto Rico and nothing happens here, its just a normal shopping day, but I do get what you are saying, I'll only get it because my family usually goes out shopping that day... I really don't care about the price, I get games at any price as long as i like them
