    WWE RAW Opener: JeriShow/D-X Promo

We open with the announcement that Randy Orton will be taking on Kofi Kingston tonight.

JeriShow's entrance music hits and the two make there way out to the ring. Chris Jericho said they wanted to clear up some misconceptions. He said that everyone thinks D-X is the best tag team of all time and that's not true. They are going to expose D-X right now. He says that D-X has never been tag team champions. Big Show then says that D-X are frauds. Sure they're popular, but they can't compete with their dominance. Show then says that there are over 42 championships between Jericho and him. Jericho then reiterates that D-X have never been in a TLC match before and they don't know what they're getting themselves into at the pay per view.

D-X's music his and they come out to the ring. Hunter says that they forgot a fact: the fact that they are boring them to death. They say it doesn't matter if they have been the tag team champs before or not because look at them, they are the champs and no one cares about them. They make history and they have developed an army (the fans). Shawn says in two short weeks, in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas, they are going to make history. One, by being in their first ever TLC match and secondly (and more importantly) by becoming the Unified Tag Team Champions. And if that wasn't special enough, there's an added bonus. When they win the titles, they get rid of Chris Jericho on Raw.

The crowd starts the "na na na na" song and Jericho says that if he leaves, the show would go in the toilet. He said they can gloss it over all they want, but he knows it drives them crazy they've never been the tag team champions. He tells them to face the facts that JeriShow is better than D-X and there's nothing they can do about it. Hunter says that two weeks can't come fast enough for them. He challenges Chris Jericho to a one-on-one match tonight. Jericho and Big Show whisper something in each other's ear and then he accepts under one condition. If Jericho loses, he'll face D-X in a handicap match. However, if he wins, Hunter faces them in a handicap match. Jericho says he's never leaving Raw and they leave.

    [COMMERCIAL]

Backstage, Maryse cuts a promo saying that when someone is walking around with her Diva's title, she did what she had to do which was attack her last week. Her partner in the next match, Jillian, sings "Gobble" and they head out to the ring.

    Melina/Gail Kim vs Maryse/Jillian

Melina and Maryse taunt each other back and forth until Jillian tries attacking Melina from behind. It doesn't last long and Gail Kim gets tagged in with a dropkick off the top rope. Jillian regains advantage though and swings her across the ring by her hair. She drags Gail to the corner and tags in Maryse who comes in taunting Melina some more who's stuck in her corner. Gail gets a neckbreaker though and tags in Melina. She comes in with a dropkick and a kick to the side of the head. She then spears Maryse and Jillian comes in, but Melina and Gail double-team her out of the ring. Maryse reverses an irish whip and charges Melina, but Melina jumps on her back and tries her finisher. Maryse holds the ropes though and Melina can't hit it. DDT by Maryse and the three count.

    WINNERS: Maryse & Jillian

We see Sheamus in the back heading to the ring and apparently, we're going to hear from him next.

    Sheamus Promo:
Sheamus said that he answered John Cena's question from last week of why he should take him seriously by putting Cena through a table. He said he's going to do it again at TLC, but this time it will be for the title. And then...Cena will take him seriously. Santino Marella's music hits and he comes out for an apparent match. Beforehand though, he gets a mic. He says that Sheamus must be very focused with his match against John "Chaina". He asks Sheamus if he's overlooking him. Apparently, he's jealous of Santino. Maybe it's because he has skin pigmentation. No, that's not it. Maybe it's because Sheamus thinks he's after his lucky charms.

He keeps going, but Sheamus cuts him off with a hit. He delivers a ton of kicks while the bell hasn't even rang yet and then he nails a big clothesline. Santino stumbles back to his feet, but Sheamus sends him back to the mat with a double fist to the head. He then gives him the big boot and his Razor's Edge type finisher. He goes out to get a table and sets it up against one corner. He picks Santino up on his shoulder and rams him back first through the table. The bell never sounds and this was apparently not an official match.

    Backstage: JeriShow and Verne Troyer

Troyer is on the phone as JeriShow walks up. He and Big Show say "hi" to one another and Chris Jericho then tries to get his attention, but Verne doesn't acknowledge him. He finally yells at Troyer to get his attention and he tells him to hold on. Jericho gets mad and walks away and afterward, Troyer says "hi" again to Big Show. We'll hear from Verne Troyer next...

    [COMMERCIAL]

Segment: Verne Troyer, The Miz, & Mark Henry

Verne is sitting on a stool at the top at the top of the entrance way. He says that he enjoyed everyone from the WWE when he visited SummerSlam, except for the Miz. Cue music and the Miz comes out. Miz says he wants to apologize for being inconsiderate and annoying at the SummerSlam. He then makes an Austin Powers/Mini-Miz joke and we move on to Troyer insulting Miz because he hasn't been in any movies. Miz then says he wouldn't mind using Troyer as a football and kicking him through the ring posts. Mark Henry comes out to make the save. Miz calls him "Fat Bastard" and says the normal lines from Austin Powers. Miz then says that Mark is boring and has no personality...just like Troyer. Troyer says that later tonight, Miz will face Mark Henry.

    [COMMERCIAL]

We're back and supposed to have the Kofi Kingston vs Randy Orton match now, but Cody Rhodes comes out from behind during Kingston's entrance and attacks him. He rams him into the steel steps before referees take him to the back. Kofi does all he can to get up and roll himself into the ring as it looks like he wants to continue the match. DiBiase then comes out from the stands and attacks Kofi as well. Kofi again gets up wanting to continue although his leg has been hurt by the two ambushes. The ref says ok and Orton's music hits and he quickly comes out to the ring for the match.

    Kofi Kingston vs Randy Orton

Randy immediately goes after the injured leg of Kingston. He rolls to the outside and splits Kofi's leg around the ringpost. He rolls back in and slingshots Kofi's neck into the bottom rope. Kofi gets to a knee and pushes Orton, but that's it as Orton kicks him repeatedly in the corner. Randy throws some punches in the corner, but Kingston battles back with some of his own. It doesn't last long though as Orton hits a kick to the stomach, followed by the RKO. Pin and the three count.

    WINNER: Randy Orton

    After The Match:
Orton grabs Kofi by the head off the ground and plops him up on the top ringpost. He then delivers that evil-looking DDT. Afterward, a loud "Randy sucks" chant breaks out as Orton stares sedistically at Kingston.

    Segment: Troyer/MVP/Mark Henry/Jillian

We're back in the back with MVP, Mark Henry, and Verne Troyer. Henry is pacing and MVP and Troyer are playing X-Box. Jillian storms in wanting to sing and at first, MVP says please don't let her, but he changes his mind so Mark Henry can show off his dancing. She starts "singing" and Henry starts "dancing" until Mark accidentally falls on her and flattens her. MVP and Henry leave as Troyer jokes about thinking she's dead.

We cut to the back and John Cena pulls up in one of those new Camaro's and we'll hear from him next.

    [COMMERCIAL]

    Promo: John Cena/Carlito

Cena demands that his music be stopped. He says that Sheamus hasn't won anything yet. He then says that if he does lose his match with Sheamus, he will use his rematch clause at TLC. Apparently, he wants to go to war tonight and have the title match with Sheamus. He awaits the music of Sheamus, but instead gets a returning Carlito who goes out to the ring. Carlito says that he's not Sheamus and doesn't even like Sheamus. But he does like what Sheamus represents because him and a ton of other superstars in the back that are tired of John Cena. Why isn't Carlito in the spotlight? He says that Sheamus is going to do what they all want to do: put him through a table. John Cena may represent all the people, but Sheamus represents "all of us". Carlito says at TLC, his reign as Champion is over. John Cena tells Carlito that he picked the wrong guy on the wrong night and his mouth his about to back him into a fight that he wants no part of. If he doesn't like it, step up. He takes off his hat and shirt and practically begs Carlito to attack him. Carlito takes a bite of his apple and as he's about to spit it in Cena's face, Cena nails him in the head and throws him out of the ring.

Sheamus' music hits and he comes out. Cena tells him the same thing that if he wants some, come get some. Sheamus takes a few steps toward the ring, but stops. A loud "Cena" chant breaks out. Sheamus goes back to the back.

    [COMMERCIAL]

    The Miz vs. Mark Henry

Henry dominating the action early. Henry manhandling Miz around the ring as The King and Michael Cole talk about the segment earlier tonight where Miz and Verne Troyer, who is ringside for this match, traded insults. Miz using his quickness now to gain an upper hand in the match. Literally seconds later, Henry catches Miz coming off the ropes and hits The World's Strongest Slam to gain the clean pinfall victory over the United States champion.

    Winner: Mark Henry

Segment: Verne Troyer Brings The Ladies Out!

After his victory, Henry goes to the top of the ramp where Mini-Me is sitting on his little stool thingy. Troyer says "The Miz who?" followed by "that's right" to zero reaction from the live crowd. He says it's time to celebrate and says: bring out the ladies! Out come a few WWE Divas who dance around Troyer. Henry picks Troyer up like a baby and raises his hand as we fade backstage.

    Backstage:Chris Jericho Is Up Next

Chris Jericho is shown walking to the ring for his match, which is up next.

    [COMMERCIAL]

Backstage: D-X, Hornswoggle & Verne Troyer

As we return from commercial we see D-X backstage. They say they had a weird dream: a little person handed them a piece of paper saying they have to go to Little People's Court. HHH says it's ok though because it was just a dream. With that said, que Hornswoggle who comes in and speaks in Leprachaun - aka mumbling with subtitles. HHH is confused. HBK says it's ok, he speaks Leprachaun. He says Hornswoggle has nothing coming to him and D-X walks off. In comes Verne Troyer who tells Hornswoggle that he should sue them for everything they've got. Fade away.

    Chris Jericho vs. Triple H

Shawn Michaels is on commentary for this match. The bell sounds and our main event is underway! Jericho slides to the floor immediately. HHH comes out after him and throws him back in the ring. As soon as he does, The Big Show's music hits and out comes the big man. That distracts HHH long enough for Jericho to gain the upper hand in the match. Jericho is hammering away now, taking advantage of the situation. And we head to a mid-match break.

    [COMMERCIAL]

Chris Jericho vs. Triple H (continued...)

We return from the break and Jericho is continuing his onslaught on HHH, who is curled up in the corner taking a beating. We flash to ringside to see that Big Show has joined HBK on commentary for this match. And wouldn't-ya know it - HBK and Big Show begin arguing! Jericho throws HHH to the floor. Jericho gets in some shots on the floor before throwing HHH back in the ring. A loud "Triple-H" chant fires up from the crowd as Jericho continues this one-sided beatdown. HHH is making his comeback now and is hitting his usual spots on Jericho, running knee, sidewalk slam, etc. Pin attempt by HHH but Jericho kicks out at two. Big Show was a little nervous during that one. Jericho hits the Walls Of Jericho out of nowhere but HHH quickly escapes. Jericho attempts a Lionsault but HHH gets his knees up. HHH is going for the Pedigree but Jericho reverses it into a roll-up pin attempt. HHH kicks out at two. Big Show and HBK continue babbling on commentary as HHH catches Jericho coming off the ropes with a surprise clothesline that elicits "oooh's" and "aaah's" from Big Show on commentary. HHH goes for a Pedigree again but Jericho reverses into a DDT this time. HBK calls this an awesome match and Jerry Lawler agrees.

Big Show gets frustrated and throws his headset off. He gets up and HBK gets up as well. HBK gets in Big Show's face but Big Show simply pie-faces him away. Big Show hits the knockout punch on HHH. While the referee is distracted getting Big Show away from ringside, HBK hits Sweet Chin Music on Jericho. The ref ejects HBK from ringside as well. Both Jericho and HHH are still out on the ring mat.

Jericho and HHH finally make it to their feet. Jericho tries a Codebreaker but HHH reverses into a Pedigree attempt. Jericho reverses that Pedigree attempt into the Walls Of Jericho, however HHH pushes him off with his legs. Jericho crashes into the corner and when he turns around, HHH rolls up Jericho. 1-2-3, HHH wins via pinfall.

    Winner: Triple H

    After The Match:
HHH walks up the ramp and HBK rejoins him on stage. HBK gets on the microphone and says "next week Chris Jericho....is your last week on RAW. And if you're not down with that, we've got two words for ya..." You can probably guess what the crowd said after that. And that's our show for this week!
