HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP)—Brett Favre says he still isn’t sure what he’s doing next season, but he may have given some indication after visiting with the Southern Miss baseball team.
The Minnesota Vikings quarterback told the Golden Eagles on Thursday morning that if they can make it back to the College World Series for the second straight year, he will return for one more season in the NFL.
Favre has left fans hanging since the Vikings lost to New Orleans in the NFC Championship game. He signed a two-year contract with the Vikings before last season. Coach Brad Childress hasn’t talked with Favre recently except by text message.
Southern Miss players have a lot of work to do if they want to force Favre into action. They are 30-20 and need wins to earn a postseason invitation.

He's like Flair, Hogan, & a few others. He's done great, but that only matters if he doesn't hang around too long.

last season was one of his best ever
he still has decent foot speed a great arm and his accuracy is
actually improving with age ur forgetting those last games 2 seasons ago
when he struggled his shoulder was seperated plus he is still the best clutch qb in the nfl

Last year was decent, but unlike Tiger Woods, he plays a team sport, & his success looks better after it happens even though it is in large part due to the work other players on his team put in. Originally Posted by macmichaud2

he has the most 4th quarter combacks in the NFL
i meant his accuracy is improving with age
and what does tiger woods have to do with anything what a joke arguement
and bull if the qb cant throw the recievers cant catch so if farve struggles so would the recievers
plus he ranked second in td's and had lowest interception percentage
but i guess thats cuz the defenses he played sucked right

I was using Tiger b/c he doesn't play a team sport; Bret does. I agree if he can't throw, they have nothing to catch... But if he throws way off-target, they can run to the ball while it's still in the air. (It's as good of an argument as anything you've said.) That also makes his accuracy appear better. i dont get what tiger has to do with farve
and if farve threw way off target his incompletions and interceptions would be a lot higer
he had the 2nd highest qb rating last season and the one touchdown off the league lead with much fewer
interceptions his accuracy was the best of his career last season
