hey thr...i was just wondering if anyone here who has seen the WWE's Don't try this at home commercial could tell me something:
at the part when the announcer says "careers ended in an instant" it shows a clip of someone being lifted into a stretcher or something from an old episode of Smackdown!...does anyone know who this was and what happened exactly...just curious

It said careers ended, not lives. That would be really really bad towards Owen if they said that because his death had nothing to do with actual wrestling.
I think it was one of Benoit's earlier injurys and JR saying "careers ended in an instant" was an insert of him saying it before.
Yea the Don't try this at home plays before almost every WWE DvD.
