Awesome Kong issued the following apology to fans via her twitter this morning:

"Awesome Kong: "I sincerely apologize to all of the disappointed fans that wished to see me vs. Mickey James tonight at NEW. I thank you all for understanding that I should not risk turning a minor injury into a major one."

Kong has been dealing with back issues in recent weeks.
